The BLISS Manifesto

For Freedom, For All.

We, the members of the Black Lynx Independent Sovereign Shield (BLISS), stand united in resistance against the United Empire of Earth (UEE). Every one of us has known the weight of being forced into service, of having our lives dictated by a government that claims to protect us but instead thrives on control, fear, and militarization. We were once pawns of the UEE’s war machine, drafted into a system that demands unquestioning loyalty, but through our struggle, we have gained our freedom and purpose.

The UEE: Fear as Control

The UEE has long used the threat of the Vanduul to justify its oppressive grip on humanity. These nomadic, aggressive raiders, first encountered in 2681, became the face of the UEE’s endless war efforts. For decades, the UEE has spun the narrative that the Vanduul are humanity’s greatest existential threat—an enemy to unite against, a reason to expand their military and suppress any sign of rebellion.

The UEE’s response to the Vanduul has been a brutal cycle of destruction. Systems such as Orion, Virgil, and Caliban have been abandoned after devastating raids, leaving civilian populations vulnerable. In their quest to defeat the Vanduul, the UEE has decimated entire colonies, never once considering the toll it has taken on innocent lives. Their so-called protection is nothing more than an excuse for control.

Our Origins: Forced Loyalty, Unbreakable Spirit

Each member of BLISS was once forced into UEE service, coerced into fighting a war that never served us. Through compulsory enlistment, we earned the title of Citizen—but not through choice, only through the imposition of the Empire. We fought for the UEE under duress, believing that we were protecting humanity. However, we soon realized that the true enemy was not the Vanduul, but the UEE itself—a corrupt, power-hungry regime that uses fear to control its people.

We were once told to fight for humanity’s survival, but what we saw was the survival of the UEE’s authority. The UEE’s wars, its oppression, its abandonment of entire systems—it became clear to us that the Empire did not care for the lives of its citizens. It only cared about its dominance, its expansion, and its control.

Our Vision: Freedom, Democracy, and Inclusion

BLISS stands for a future where all systems can govern themselves free from the UEE’s interference. A future where all species—human and alien alike—are treated with respect, where democracy isn’t a privilege, but a right for all sentient beings. A future where every individual, no matter their race, gender, sexuality, or species, has a voice and a place in the galaxy. We welcome all—humans, aliens, and even our furry friends.

Democracy: The UEE enforces its rule through militarization, using the Vanduul threat to justify a rigid hierarchy that silences opposition. We fight for true self-governance, where each system can choose its own path free from the Empire’s grip. Every voice matters, and every system deserves the autonomy to thrive. Inclusion: The Empire thrives on division, labeling anyone who doesn’t conform as a threat. BLISS stands for a galaxy where all races, species, genders, sexualities, and identities can coexist and flourish. Whether human, Xi’an, Banu, Vanduul, or any other being—whether they are humanoid or not—we believe that freedom and respect are for everyone. This is a space where every sentient being is embraced, where diversity is celebrated, and where differences are seen as strengths, not weaknesses. Justice: The UEE’s justice is nothing but a tool for maintaining control. We fight for true justice—justice that empowers individuals and communities to live without fear, to speak out, and to decide their own futures. True justice is about equality, not subjugation; about protection, not oppression. We fight for systems where justice serves the people, not the Empire. Freedom: We were once forced to fight for the UEE, but now we fight for freedom—for the right of every individual and every system to live without the Empire’s chains. The UEE may dominate the stars, but it cannot control our hearts and minds. We will create a future where all are free to live as they choose, without the fear of the UEE’s iron grip.

Our Pledge

We, the members of BLISS, pledge to:

Protect the systems abandoned by the UEE, providing medical aid, security, and support to those left behind. Fight for the autonomy of every system, ensuring no one lives under the shadow of the UEE’s tyranny. Dismantle the UEE’s war machine, which fuels both the Vanduul conflict and their imperialistic ambitions. Champion freedom, democracy, and inclusion for all species, races, genders, sexualities, and identities—including all non-humanoids and our furry friends.

BLISS Charter
Mission:
BLISS fights for freedom, justice, and self-governance, liberated from the UEE’s oppressive rule. Born from forced service, we’re a community of rebels who stand for all sentient beings, from all races and species.

Code of Conduct:

Respect Comes First:
Treat everyone with respect, both in and out of the game. Hate and discrimination won’t be tolerated—ever. (This rule must be followed at all times.)

No Harassment or Griefing:
We’re here to have fun, not ruin others’ experiences. Harassment, griefing, or making the game miserable for others is unacceptable. (This rule must be followed at all times.)

Activity Requirement:
Stay engaged—log at least 2 hours of gameplay per month. Life happens, and waivers can be granted, but long-term inactivity without notice may lead to removal. (This rule must be followed at all times.)

PvP With Purpose:
Engage in PvP to protect allies, defend the oppressed, or stand up for what we believe in. We fight with a cause, not for chaos. (This rule applies only during org activities and events.)

Defend the Forgotten:
BLISS defends those who are overlooked and outnumbered. We step in to support settlements or players under attack, offering help where needed. (This rule applies only during org activities and events.)

Have Fun, Raise Hell:
This is a game, and we’re here to make it count. Have fun, make stories, and challenge the UEE’s control however you see fit.

Core Values:

Resistance: We resist UEE control and fight for the freedom of systems to govern themselves.

Democracy: Every system should have the right to decide its own future without UEE interference.

Inclusion: BLISS is an inclusive space—racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and hate have no place here. All races, genders, species, and identities are welcome.

Protection: We protect those abandoned by the UEE, offering security and humanitarian aid to systems in need.
