We, the Echoes of Sparta, declare our unyielding will to the stars.
From the ashes of forgotten worlds, we rise again, descendants of the warriors who once stood tall on Earth’s soil. We are the living testament to the strength of Sparta, an eternal echo that reverberates through the ages. In the void of space, we uphold the sacred principles of our forebears: strength, honor, discipline, and survival.

We are Ascendants.
To be born of Sparta is to inherit the will of a people who thrived in adversity. From childhood, we are molded, tested, and forged in the crucible of hardship. We embrace the Spartan way: no weakness, no surrender, no compromise. We face the endless void with the heart of a warrior. Our bodies, our minds, and our spirits are our weapons. We do not kneel. The Echoes of Sparta Charter

In the Void, Only the Strong Echo.

Preamble: We, the Echoes of Sparta, unite under the banner of our forebears, the ancient Spartans, whose unwavering spirit guides our actions in the galaxy. We are a syndicate of warriors, bound by honor, strength, and loyalty. This Charter serves as the foundation upon which our society is built — a sacred document that ensures our survival, preserves our legacy, and dictates the conduct of every Echo within our ranks.

Article I: The Spartan Code

Honor Above All:
Every member of the Echoes of Sparta is bound by the Spartan Code, a set of principles that governs our actions, our behavior, and our interactions with others. We shall uphold the highest standard of honor, fighting only for causes worthy of our strength and avoiding dishonorable acts.

Strength is Law:
Strength is the measure of all things within the Echoes of Sparta. We value physical and mental fortitude, tactical prowess, and the will to endure. The strong lead, and the weak follow — there is no room for weakness, and no tolerance for failure.

Unity in Purpose:
The Echoes of Sparta stand united in purpose: to survive, to conquer, and to bring the glory of Sparta back to the stars. Every member must uphold this goal, putting the syndicate’s interests above personal ambition or gain.

Article II: Membership

Trial of the Void:
To become a full member of the Echoes of Sparta, one must first endure the Trial of the Void. This grueling test of survival, endurance, and resilience proves the worthiness of a recruit to join our ranks. Only those who survive the trial are recognized as Ascendants — true warriors of Sparta.

Ascendance:
Once a recruit passes the Trial of the Void, they shall be known as an Ascendant. They are fully integrated into the syndicate, given access to all resources, and are expected to contribute to the success of the Echoes. As Ascendants, their loyalty and strength are unquestioned.

Exile and Betrayal:
Those who betray the Echoes of Sparta, whether through weakness, disloyalty, or treachery, shall be exiled or executed, depending on the severity of their actions. There is no place for traitors within our ranks. A stain upon one is a stain upon all.

Article III: Ranks and Structure

The Archon:
The Archon is the supreme leader of the Echoes of Sparta. This title is earned through trials, leadership, and the respect of fellow warriors. The Archon leads with wisdom, strength, and a commitment to the Spartan ideals. Their authority is absolute, and they are the ultimate arbiter of all matters concerning the syndicate.

The Strategos:
Strategos are the commanders and tacticians of the Echoes of Sparta. They hold significant power and influence, commanding forces, and overseeing strategic operations. They are chosen for their tactical brilliance and loyalty to the Archon.

The Myrmidon:
The Myrmidons are the elite protectors and personal warriors of the Archon and Strategos. Their combat prowess and loyalty are unmatched. They serve as the vanguard in battle, ensuring the security and strength of the syndicate’s leadership.

The Hoplite:
Hoplites are the core of the Echoes of Sparta, the fighters and mercenaries who take on missions, enforce our will, and uphold the Spartan way. They are the backbone of our force, the warriors who carry out the day-to-day tasks of the syndicate.

The Neophyte:
Neophytes are those who have passed the Trial of the Void but have yet to prove themselves as full members of the syndicate. They undergo further training, guidance, and testing before being officially promoted to the rank of Ascendant. Neophytes are closely monitored by higher-ranking members.

Article IV: Conduct and Ethics

Loyalty to the Syndicate:
Every member of the Echoes of Sparta must demonstrate unwavering loyalty to the syndicate, its leadership, and its cause. Disloyalty will not be tolerated, and those who fail to adhere to this rule shall be judged swiftly and without mercy.

Respect for the Spartan Way:
The principles of the Spartan Code must guide every action. Members must conduct themselves with dignity, strength, and discipline in all interactions — both within the syndicate and with outsiders.

Respect for Rank and Authority:
The hierarchy within the Echoes of Sparta must be respected at all times. Orders given by those of higher rank are to be followed without question, for the survival and success of the syndicate depend on the unity of purpose.

Commitment to the Greater Good:
Personal ambition must never overshadow the greater goals of the Echoes. Every member is expected to put the needs of the syndicate first, ensuring that our collective strength remains unbroken. Personal gain, if it conflicts with the syndicate’s mission, is to be put aside.

The Warrior’s Path:

Those who fail to uphold the standards of the Echoes will be given a chance to redeem themselves, but failure to improve will result in exile or removal from the syndicate.

The Echoes of Sparta take on contracts as mercenaries, enforcers, and protectors, but we do so only when it aligns with our code of honor. We do not fight for petty causes or the whims of those who do not respect our way. Our services are only offered to those who share our values or pay the price for our efforts.
