Former microTech special forces operative and combat pilot, some rumors say he was second in command to a mercenary squad, whose leader mysteriously disappeared, not long before Konrad fled the region, and soon after established his own mercenary crew.
Today Knox and his small gang operate as independent problem solvers, infiltrators, bounty hunters, mercenary security, and smugglers. Some accounts point to him dealing with pirates, at least those that adhere to a code, though no evidence exists of him dealing with creed-free ruthless marauders.
Rumors have it that Knox’s son operates with him, so the man is raising his offspring in rough mercenary ways of the outer space.
Will retrieve and deliver criminals and other wanted persons, dead or alive.
Will standby on defensive retainer on ground or in orbit, escort ships and fleets, with a daily pay rate.
Will hire out to secure assets, take objectives, and initiate deep strike small forces upon request.
Will infiltrate rival organizations and perform tasks of sabotage and information brokering at daily pay rate.
Will provide support for beacons free at a daily pay rate.
Will do other jobs upon negotiation. Don’t much care what they are.
We ask customers to give us a cut based on the following metrics:
Cargo / PvE Missions support is a % of total profit. 5% for each type of service provided.
If a mission pays 10 million total, KnoxSec gets 5% for ground combat support, 5% for air escort, 5% for assistance in loading, etc. 15% = 1.5 mil for example.
Missions that include a PvP bounty / interdiction / personal assassinations that generate no pay or very little pay, come at a negotiated fee, starting at 100k + expenditures for ammunition and fuel
Patrol / Airspace / Battlespace Control on retainer. These missions are timed rather than per-haul-profit. KnoxSec can be hired on retainer at an hourly wage of 100k per hour per person. KnoxSec will stay in the area and establish domination and battlespace saturation (holding a gate, an orbit, an outpost, personal escort)
Medical Rescue: 100k standard fee within solar system. 100k extra for interstellar jumps.
The Law is but a fine sphincter, which can be stretched just wide enough to fit all profitable intentions through without tearing the fragile lining of respectable public appearance.
