Fifty years after the Krillean Rebellion, the five planets of the Salemy System were able to exist in a much needed peace.
Almost 100 total years of war had sent the system, once famous for its lush vacation destination planet Belmonte, into almost complete darkness.
A man, credited to this day for bringing about the end of the war, saw opportunity, where most saw devastation.
Known only as “JT”, this man knew that after so much war, there would be a need for resources, if the Salemy System was going to prosper once more.
Having come from a family that was well established throughout many systems of the universe, JT had the knowledge and the financial backing to obtain his first small fleet of salvaging ships, and began cleaning up the debris left from decades of war. The cleaner space, and economic boost, created by JT and his team, helped the planets Ryel, Corrie, Belmonte, Aym and Zil, to return from the brink, and rebuild.
JT named his prospering business Savage Salvage, after the nickname his father earned during an exceptionally brutal battle on planet Ryel, during the Krillean Rebellion.
Savage Salvage continues to be a leader in the dangerous field of deep space ship breaking. While profitable, salvaging mining has claimed many victims.
But like his father, JT knew that a few may fall, so that many more may stand.
