History
Thrusters and Dust was founded by Dusty Star, a visionary in the Star Citizen universe with a dream of turning derelict ships into fully restored, flyable vessels. Starting as a lone salvager, Dusty built a reputation for seeing value in wrecked ships and components, inspiring a community of like-minded players. Over time, this passion grew into Thrusters and Dust—a dedicated organization focused on salvaging, repairing, and selling restored ships across the ‘verse. Today, the group brings together players who are more than salvagers—they’re craftsmen, breathing new life into the remains of once-great ships.

Our mission is to see beyond the rust and broken parts, transforming derelict ships and abandoned components into something valuable, functional, and ready to take on the stars again. Our goals are simple:

Thrusters and Dust exists to restore, revive, and return wrecked ships to the ‘verse. Founded by Dusty Star, our goal is to build an organization where the skills of salvage, repair, and restoration are valued and respected. We believe that every ship, no matter its condition, has the potential to be reborn.
II. Core Principles
- Respect the Craft – Restoration is an art. Every member is expected to treat their work, tools, and teammates with respect.
- See Value in the Broken – We see beyond the rust. Members are encouraged to always look for potential, be it in a ship, a component, or a teammate.
- Build to Last – Our goal is to provide reliable ships and services. Quality and craftsmanship come first in everything we do.
