Manifesto

A Brief Overview

Founded as a group for various freelance pilots to conduct business and fly as they saw fit. Following a simple Code of Conduct, these tenants provide the foundation and guide for their actions while also outlining to those outside what they can expect from someone who is a member.

The Verse Freelancers has no official leanings to anyone side or cause. We FLY as we see fit. We BARGAIN as we deem to. We FIGHT as we choose. We do not care about the why or the what. We do as we are hired, no less. If you treat with us fairly, we will do so in return. If you treat poorly, we will remember. If you betray us, we will repay the dept, one way or another, and your business will no longer be accepted.

Join us as a member or hire us for a job. We will welcome you and aid you as able. Betray that trust, and we will seek you out.

The Code

The Code serves us as our rules for conducting business with others and has been described as ambiguous. This is purposeful as each pilot will interpret the Code in their own ways, yet as long as they follow it and adhere to the principles, they will never go astray. We follow it not out of blind loyalty, but because we understand what it is and what it entails for us and for others.

Hiring Us

Hiring Rates:

Single Job: 100,000 UEC or 10% of Total Mission Pay

Multiple Jobs: 100,000 UEC plus 10% of Total Pay from ALL Missions

Hiring Agreements

Any Freelancer can accept any job. Any Freelancer who does not adhere to the deal is to be reported with Video Evidence of the incident. Any Patrons who renege on the agreement will be Black Listed and no further business will be conducted with them. This does not include Organizations, with exception that multiple members of the Organization in question conduct themselves as described.

THE CODE

1. FELLOWSHIP: Each member is beholden to another. We, who have chosen our path, shall not abandon our own when they request aid of us.

2. HONOR: Each member acknowledges that we all share this verse, but while others may act deplorably, we will not. We do not use falsehoods to have our enemies lower their guard, we strike true and directly. We do not hide, we attack!

3. COMMITMENT: Each member will uphold any deals they make, any promises we give. We uphold our contracts, we uphold our words. We pay our debts.

4. TRUST: Each member acknowledges that a level of trust must exist in order for communities to function. If that trust is betrayed, communities crumble. Those who break that trust, shall repay that debt in full.
