Oliver Kind, born on the 10th of August, 2921, was the heir to a small transport company named Terran Express. As he watched his father's company while growing up, he knew he was going to continue the legacy.
Unfortunately, in 2938, the already struggling Terran Express was rocked by a recession, and shortly afterwards Oliver's father Manuel Kind passed away.
In a desperate move to save the family business, Oliver sold off everything he could, from the family's apartment on Earth to the 13 ships the company had bought days before the recession started. He downsized the company and purchased a lightly used Freelancer. The only employees Oliver retained was his close friends, CirwakoScarlex and Doompenguin.
The Freelancer served as the backbone for the company and allowed him to quickly learn piloting, and with that, Oliver Kind set about rebuilding the family empire.
