Gial Hackbar is a former admiral of the Seashell Alliance who decided to quit at the top of his game and answer the call to adventure. He is famous for his keen observation skills expressed by monosyllabic shouts. Over the years he mastered piloting, space sciences, cartography, tradesmanship, combat abilities, seafood cooking, Waltz dancing and Scrabble. He is invaluable crewmember in all situations and a jolly good fellow. He is an adventurer at heart and a proud owner of an AEGIS Avenger which he takes on solo missions here and there. He is much happier on a bridge of multi-crew starships where he really shines. For a fair share of the profit, he is loyal and motivated. He can handle all kinds of tasks except paperwork. He is truly afraid of water, especially larger amount than he is able to drink up.
