Shanghaied as a teenager and placed on a long haul transport from Sol to Hurston. Jag fought his captors at first but then realized he was stuck, so he made the best of it learning what he could about ship systems, and flying. When landing on Microtech, he made a break for freedom and managed to slip away from his captors. Unfortunately he had no money or belongings, so had to sign onto a large freighter crew to earn enough money to eventually buy his own small ship. When naming his ship, he had to come up with something flashy and professional, so he put the suffix ITS in front of the name (Interstellar Transitional Starship) to enhance the look of the shabby craft. He decided to stick with the strategy while adding to his fleet. Whether the suffix worked in his favor, is to be determined...
