Bio
Silas "Spoon" Lamb was born on the fringes of UEE space, on a humble mining colony in the Nyx system. Growing up amidst ore and dust, he learned the art of survival and negotiation from an early age. His parents were independent miners, always fighting against the big corporations encroaching on their territory. From them, Silas learned two things: a deep-seated mistrust for corporations and a knack for flying, his father's old, beaten-up Drake Cutlass serving as his training wheels.
When his parents fell victim to a mining accident, Silas was left with nothing but the Cutlass and a burning desire for freedom. He sold the Cutlass, scraped together every last credit he had, and purchased his Drake Corsair, the "Helen Bach". Named as a tongue-in-cheek homage to his hard times (Hell and Back), the ship became his home, his livelihood, and his ticket to the vast universe.
