Richard York is a retired UEE Vice Admiral and served 30 years with the Navy Logistics Command(NLC). Serving in combat commands like Fleet Combat Logistics Squadrons 4, 9, and 30, he saw combat with the 1st, 5th and 7th Fleets in the actions against the Vanduul, Xi An, and anti-pirate missions. He also served at NLC as Maintenance Officer, Operations Director, Military Contracting Officer, and retired as NLC's Fleet Operations Center Commander. After retirement, he briefly worked at Crusader Industries as a consultant for the Hercules Starlifter Program, acquiring a C2 variant for operational testing under a bonded contract. Richard and Loren founded Y&W Transport one year later.
