History

Acclivity Space Industries was first launched in 2014 as a resource prospecting mission, and has grown up alongside humanity’s space-faring capabilities. In the 22nd and 23rd century, ASI was one of the premier NGO’s involved with prospecting and mining first the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, and then later the Kuiper Belt and many Oort Cloud objects.

By the 24th century, ASI had grown into a massive semi-freelance operation, and this lasted for hundreds of years, well into the 30th century. After the Vega system was colonized, ASI moved its headquarters and main operations in orbit of Vega II, to be closer to the front lines of untapped resources and discoveries.

Tragically, in 2945, ASI’s headquarters and primary storage and refining operations were destroyed in the Battle of Vega II by the Vanduul. From the ashes of this tragedy, a new direction for ASI has been taken, returning the company to the roots of what made it a successful operation in the first place: Semi-freelance prospecting and mining.

The new Acclivity aims to re-grow the operation using a small but dedicated, loose conglomeration of freelance explorers and miners, with profit-sharing incentives, individual autonomy, and both internal and external strategic partnerships.

If you are interested in being a part of the new Acclivity Space Industries, please submit an application. We are currently looking for explorers and miners who value autonomy and personal freedom, as well as profits. We aim to keep the operation small, lean, and agile, so space in the organization is limited.

Manifesto

ASI is a multi-faceted corporation centered on delivering goods to the marketplace while maximizing profit. We aim to prospect, mine and gather raw resources, trade goods when profitable, and protect our employees, partners and assets.

Our business model gives our explorers and miners the freedom to generally do as they please, but also provides structure and cooperation when tackling larger projects. With our profit sharing incentives, you can prospect and mine as little or as much as you’d like, with a scaling reward system.

Charter

  1. Always defend yourself, other ASI members, and ASI assets and interests.
  2. Always seek the highest profits.
  3. Teamwork is the straightest path to profitability.
  4. Integrity and reputation are paramount to success.
