Legio X Aquila / AETERNAVTX

Created during the Messer Era, the legion was a special forces unit designed after the infomous and anciet roman legion. It’s purpose was to ensure order on new conquered planets and guard highranking memebers of the imperial Highcommand.

This was the official site of things. In secret the Legion executed high risk missions behind enemy lines and was used favourable to “pacifiy” civilian groups and organization leaders that are not operating on the imperial point of view.

The fate of the legion changed drastically after the revolution of 2792, where the Messer dynasty was overthrown and was replaced with a elective monarchy.
This was a hardhitting blow to the legion. Now, after centuries of honourable and loyal duty under the Messer Emperors, the now archaic looking legion finds itself in a new Empire, disbanded from its duty and ambition.

Officially, the “Legion X Aquila” was never a fully implemented section of the military and therefore was just disbanded. Unofficially, the legion is now a small paramilitary organisation tolerated by Highcommand and a welcoming site for the more older and conservative veterans of the UEE military.

The Legion is operating currently as a mercenary unit at the borders of law but always with the purpose to secure and defend his ‘new’ Empire
