Squadron 442 AGRS

Created in 2877, Squadron 442 was founded by a pair of retired veteran UEEN (36th Squadron) pilots and their support NCOs employed as “backup” by Esperia on Terra. Conceived as an aggressor squadron specializing in alien technology, weapon systems and spacecraft, the members of Squadron 442, strive to become experts in alien technology and serve the UEE as contractors. These experienced pilots and space weapon technicians were sent as observers to Kabal III to oversee the reclamation of alien ships discovered there.

Pilot History and contribution

• Vanduul – CMDR Johnson “Psychogun” Kobura of the 442 AGRS test piloted Victor Huston’s newly unvailed Glaive at the 2877 IAE.
• Xian – 2948 first purchase of the San’Tok’Yai to the squadron.
• Tevarin – 2946-47 First tests on the Prowler. 2950 part of the demo team for the Talon at the IAE. The Squadron was one of the first organisation to purchase Talons for their spacewing.

About Squadron 442’s crest. (OOC)

• The 442 Squadron crest is a derivative of the famous 323 Agressor Squadron (Glaive + Agressor Squadron font)
• Latin motto: Oderint dum metuant – Let Them Hate as Long as They Fear (even though the quote has been attributed to the Emperor Caligula, the motto is a great choice for an Agressor Squadron.)
• Emblem Color and EOD Guy Fawkes: The Colors of the patch was chosen to honor the AE/TE (Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment) Squadron, stationed at * CFB Cold Lake (Canada) // Guy Fawkes emblem is used in honor of the founder of the Squadron, MWO Willy (RIP 2023), retired EOD / Air Weapon System Technician with 34 years of service in the RCAF.
