We are few but passionate. Our members shall explore the galaxy, some for fun and some for profit.

History

Our organization was founded in the early days of inter-system exploration, shortly after the colonization of Tera. A group of like-minded pilots saw the need for an organization who’s focus could be on exploration and trading that could be run by the private sector instead of the UEE. They saw an opportunity for not just Citizens but Civilians as well to combine resources and explore the galaxy on their own terms.

Manifesto

Auspicious Tangent is not a group of people who are against against UEE regulation and governance as some would portray us. Our members (mostly) simply believe that the individual or small groups of Citizens and Civilians should be able to explore and expand mankind’s knowledge and reach into the stars on their own terms not just those methods outlined by the government.

Our members tend to be polite and friendly people who would rather offer others assistance out of a jam versus stealing your cargo. We have entrepreneurs, explorers, retirees, mechanics, doctors, ex-Navy and bounty hunters to count as members of our organization. We tend to, “acquire” people from all walks of life. Most of us share a passion for exploring, to see past what is known and into the unknown.

Charter

Organization Primary Rules:

1) Fun & Respect. First and foremost (most) members of Auspicious Tangent play SC (Star Citizen) to have fun and relax. If any organization member repeatedly creates uncomfortable social situations there will be action taken by the Officials. Outside the organization, Auspicious Tangent members are expected to be courteous and respectful to non-organization members especially when representing the organization in dungeon and raid groups. Every organization member should be an example of our organization, not an exception.

2) Language & Maturity. Conversations on the Organization, Officer and Raid lines will be kept clean. Repeated misuse of the Organization, Officer or Raid lines will lead to action being taken by the Officials. Please note that the policies regarding chat lines also apply to organization-hosted voice chat such as the organization TeamSpeak server.
