History

Black Flag was created to combat the somewhat overbearing military presence in many sectors by establishing a line of bounty hunters and security contractors for private and commercial use to reduce military necessity. Black Flag continues to expand into new areas of operation, now operating as private escorts, bounty hunters, defense personnel and (when the pay is good enough) assassins.

Manifesto

We seek to gain profit however possible, and rely upon the bonds between our members to succeed. An organization fails without communication. Communication is achieved through relation, and relation is what we provide. We are an affiliation of rogue elements, following our own ideals, cooperating with our own, for our own. We fly our own flags with the wind of progress at our backs. We are Black Flag.

Each of us began as wanderers in need of a home. In need of a better life. In need of support. Vagabonds, weathering the storm for glory or fortune or fame, or simply to stay alive. No longer. Welcome all wanderers. Welcome home.

Charter

Funded by legitimate defense contracting and the hunting of high profile targets either wanted by the law or by private entities, as well as some more legally grey activity, the Black Flag operates with complete discretion- don’t tell and we won’t ask. At the end of the day, a steady income and a clean record are all a Black Flag member need concern themselves with.

All members must abide by these guidelines:
1. No violence against other members.
2. Respect everyone equally; if you choose not to, then understand why you are treated as dirt.
3. Obey higher-ups to a point, though if any demands are too drastic you have the option to refuse.
4. Be clear and concise.
5. Always know your target.
6. Be informed before engaging any targets. and always call in support in favor of living.
7. Never betray your brothers and sisters in arms- it’s a grave mistake.
8. Know your place within the organization and your place outside. We are all a part of a larger circle that makes up a fraction of our sphere of reality, but together that circle becomes under our control. We have strength in one another, and in the flag we all bear.
