The Blazing Aces / BLZACES

The Blazing Aces are not afraid to do what it takes to win. However, we play for fun first and foremost, and we’re willing to train inexperienced pilots if they’re willing to learn.

We are large on maintaining communications discipline during fights and take a very organized sim-styled approach to gaming.

Our official parade color scheme is white, red, and black.

Each member’s rank is associated with a playing card. Aces are the highest rank and are the official leaders of the unit. Face cards are officer ranks, while the descending numbers represent the equivalent of various grades of warrant officers or enlisted members. Jokers are recruits or those whose status cannot be reflected within the normal ranks.

Each suit specializes in a certain play-style, although membership in a suit does not require slavish adherence to the suit’s traditional role. Hearts are generalists, Clubs are close range fighters, Diamonds focus on long range, and Spades specialize in reconnaissance.

We lean towards a serious, no-quarter-given style and our pilots are expected to do what it takes to win. We have no problems with using the best equipment available, boating or any configuration that’s combat effective. We embrace the best strategies and tactics for the current state of any game we are active in.

We always honorably stick by our contracts and alliances.

Violation of game mechanics will not be tolerated.
