History
Enter the Bootleggers!
We are a group of friends and allies that have joined up together from a variety of different gaming communities for the overall goal of having fun in a laid back environment that emphasizes freedom of player choice rather than strict adherence to fleet commitments. Under this philosophy, our mantra is “Real Life First”, which means that anything relating to an individuals personal life is to take precedence before the game. As Bootleggers we hope to continue this tradition in Star Citizen by forging new friendships with casual players who prefer a mature and relaxed group that allows for everyone to accomplish their goals as they see fit.

Manifesto
Some call it Bootlegging. We call it business.
As referenced by the name, our primary focus will be smuggling illicit or highly profitable goods throughout the verse. To this end we plan to provide escort and support to fleet convoys moving through low to high security space and back. Our secondary focus will be specialized cargo and VIP transport. We hope to take full advantage of the best shipping lanes available and providing our members with the latest and most lucrative routes. These will not be our only goals however as we have members who plan to engage in a variety of activities including but not limited to: Exploration, Mining, Personnel Transport, Search and Rescue, and even Piracy.
Charter
BOOTLEGGERS (est. 2948)
- We believe in RLF (Real Life First). Star Citizen is just a game. We understand people can be passionate but try not to forget this.
- Discord is required. Although we don’t expect you to necessarily be in voice chat all the time, we like to get to know our members this way.
- We are a mature group of friendly folk. As such we expect people to behave appropriately. Personal insults and harassment are not tolerated.
- Be helpful and courteous to fellow fleet members. There are no such things as “noob” questions. We all wish to support our fleet and grow together.
- We cater to any type of playstyle. You are very much free to do your own thing in the ‘verse. We will provide help if/when you need.
