History
Our Club:
This Club was formed in February 2020 with the goal of creating a fun, cooperative environment for players who wish to work with one another to achieve their own goals in whatever in-game careers they wish to pursue, as well as accomplish larger, organization-wide goals. With a small, but growing, membership of dedicated individuals, we’re well on our way to seeing that goal become a reality. If what you’ve read so far appeals to you, feel free to apply; we’d be more than happy to have you on our roster. Make sure to join or discord to be accepted tho :3. For additional information, please see our manifesto and charter sections.
Manifesto
Who We Are
We are a group of gamers and passionate Star Citizen fans who enjoy playing in groups while maintaining an easygoing, friendly, cooperative atmosphere. To that end, we created Chairman in order to be just that; a club of like-minded players who want to work together in order to achieve their own goals and club goals while having fun and making friends at the same time.
What We Do
In short, everything. We aim to have a club that will support all types of careers in the Persistent Universe. Whether you want to trade, mine, explore, or do anything in between, we’ve not only got you covered, but we’re just as interested. For the moment, we’re focusing heavily on building friendships and building a helpful positive community.
What Is Your Command Structure Like?
We have a small, dedicated leadership team that oversees the operation of our organization and, in the Persistent Universe, will provide direction of organization objectives. Beyond that, we don’t believe a chain of command has to be any more complicated than it needs to be; we’re all here to make friends, have fun, and get the most out of Star Citizen.
How Much Dedication And Activity Do You Expect?
We welcome all levels of activity in the Chairman’s Club. Whether it be a few hours a month, week, or day, we’re always happy to have you. When it comes to dedication, all we ask is some sort of contribution to our organization’s objectives.
Are You Role-Play-Friendly?
While we certainly won’t mind if you wish to role-play, we are not a dedicated role-playing organization, and as such, our organization communications and typical in-game conduct (depending on individual players) will not involve role-playing, as the majority of our members are not role-players. We don’t mind some role-play!
Where Can I Get More Information?
If that burning question you have wasn’t answered by anything above, please feel free to message one of the leadership members of the Chairman’s Club. We would be more than happy to answer any question you may have via PM or Discord, if you’d prefer.
How Do I Apply?
Feel free to apply through our organization page. Once your application has been processed, a member of the Chairman’s Club leadership will communicate the next steps to you, in order to get you set up with our Discord server, and any other information you’ll want to have.
