ComCitizen Website
ComCitizen is a public event and planning community for Star Citizen. We make no disparity between alliances and seek to network with all players towards their common in-game goals. Exploration – Combat – Trade: We’re involved in all game aspects.

History

Greated by gamers, for gamers.

Greetings. I am Youngbllood. I am the founder of ComCitizen along with my chief admins Wazka and Kopako. I thought it would be meaningful to share a few words regarding our histories together and where we’ve hailed from in the gaming world.

I started gaming with the original Command and Conquer. Cruisers firing onto the shoreline from its 16 bit graphics top-down view was at the cutting edge in the late 90s. I discovered a deep fascination with games, their clans, and the social culture that gaming evolved into. I was privy to watching the birth of Teamspeak and its transition from Roger Wilco. I’ve managed guilds and communities in nearly every digital environment from Yuri’s Revenge, Call of Duty to Tabula Rasa, Earthrise and Firefall.

In Firefall, we sported one of our most recent and effective successes. Before the game began decline, our community was the sole contact with the developers to gather players for large events. When the developers needed to stress test their product, Bane Busters was there. We coordinated with them to provide support and feedback. As a community leader, I’ve watched success pair itself with failures of equal or greater magnitude. I’ve been naive enough to fall in love, start a business, and even live with those I’ve met online. The internet has been my caretaker.

Despite transgressions, I have energy for one more hump, one more hoorah. Star Citizen, being it untethered from corporate sabotage and being crowd funded, should hold the greatest potential for gaming success. We will invest our efforts into gaming one more time, the best way I know how. I hope you’ll join us as we venture into this new universe together.

Manifesto

You’re Never Alone

Specializing in networking, building, and coordination of group events, raids, and other public encounters, we aim to gather and organize the masses. We are neutral with double meaning. Some would say neutral means to abstain, we disagree with strong reservations. We will be involved in all game aspects and will strive to delegate our focus in an unbiased manner.

Player made guides, floater players to fill groups, live twitch streams, an RSVP system and public teamspeak are just some of the assets we offer. We are the premier community for Star Citizen. Join us and colonize the rough waters of community camaraderie. We are the community for communities. We are ComCitizen™. On your wing or at your six.

Charter

ABOUT US
ComCitizen is different than most. We want a place where everyone can gather to socialize and talk with like-minded people in a safe and welcoming environment. In order to make that happen, we have certain rules we ask all members of our community to adhere to.

DO NOT CHALLENGE STAFF
Above all other rules is to respect the forum and community staff. The moderator or staff member is always right.

If for any reason you feel you’ve been wronged by moderation or staff, you are entitled to report the issue to Youngbllood or one of the ranking administrators present.

HAVE RESPECT FOR EACH OTHER
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but no one is entitled to attack others for that opinion. If you can’t communicate without using combative, aggressive, or passive aggressive responses, then consider that this may not be for you.

As it pertains to discussion, disagreement is unavoidable. However, this is not a license to misbehave – you must provide reasoning and justification for your statements.
