The Cathexis Corporation exemplifies exactly its name, holding firmly to whatever ideology the CEO and board have agreed upon, mostly the pursuit of that which is profitable and cares for its members as a unit. Feel free to browse, and please visit our Recruitment section for career opportunities.
Many years ago, a small group of ex-military and Law Enforcement personnel with a history of walking the line between legal and “extra-legal” activities, came together through common profit.
After their military and law enforcement careers ended with less than honorable discharges, they quickly made a name for themselves as the best in the business when anyone needed secure transport through unfriendly space. Before long, more profitable opportunities arose in the form of bounties to be “collected”.
Although they left their honorable positions, the founding members fiercely held to the brotherhood that kept them alive on the streets and the battlefield. The time spent watching their comrades fall brought forth the painful reminder that became their motto, “Fear Is Death”.
The Cathexis Corporation was founded years later after the name became synonymous with prowess in battle. This quickly drew the best pilots and smugglers from around the galaxy.
Loyalty, Honor, and Profit are still the driving principles behind the Cathexis Corporation to this day.
