DarkStar Expeditions, a relatively new and ambitious organization in the verse, was founded in the year 2946 by its visionary and CEO, RuffiØ. With a keen focus on exploration and transportation work, DarkStar Expeditions quickly gained attention within the industry.
In 2953, DarkStar Expeditions achieved a significant milestone by merging with Strike Industries Security Solutions, an organization that specialized in private intel and security contracting. This strategic merger brought together the expertise and resources of both entities, creating a formidable force in the field of exploration, transportation, and private security contracting.
The merger allowed DarkStar Expeditions to expand its capabilities and enhance its service offerings. The combined forces of DarkStar Expeditions and Strike Industries brought together a team of highly skilled UEE veterans, former advocacy members, and other UEE members from the Ruffio Freakshow and beyond. These skilled professionals were able to pool their resources to obtain a sizeable fleet of exploration and security vessels. This fleet included access to a pair of Idris-Ks, formidable warships for their transportation division. These Idris-K vessels, originally designed for UEE patrol and combat missions, offer an unparalleled level of protection for DarkStar’s clients and assets. With advanced weaponry, robust defenses, and versatility, the Idris-K vessels serve as the flagship assets of DarkStar’s transportation security operations.
DarkStars exploration teams excelling in their daring missions to uncover hidden wonders and unlock the secrets of the universe, while the transportation division ensured the safe passage of valuable cargo and personnel through a blend of military-grade tactics and cutting-edge defense technologies.

3.1 CEO (Chief Executive Officer):
The CEO is the highest-ranking position within DarkStar Expeditions. They provide strategic direction, oversee the organization’s operations, and make executive decisions to ensure the achievement of the organization’s goals. The CEO is responsible for leading the Leadership Team and ensuring the overall success and growth of DarkStar Expeditions. If you are the CEO, you are RuffiØ.
3.2 Board Member:
Board Members are appointed individuals who provide guidance and expertise to support the CEO in making important decisions for the organization. They fill specific rolls such as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), and Chief Experience Officer (CXO).
3.3 Directors:
Directors hold key leadership positions within DarkStar Expeditions and are responsible for overseeing specific departments or divisions within the organization. They work closely with the CEO to develop and implement strategies, manage operations, and ensure the efficient functioning of their respective areas of responsibility.
3.4 Senior Administrator: Senior Administrators hold a senior position within DarkStar Expeditions. They assist the Directors in managing their departments and provide additional support and oversight to Executive Supervisors.
3.5 Executive Supervisor:
Executive Supervisors are experienced and highly skilled members of DarkStar Expeditions who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, competence, and contribution to the organization. They often serve as team leaders, mentors, or specialists in their respective fields and provide guidance and support to other members.
3.6 Assistant Coordinator:
Assistant Coordinators comprise members who have gained proficiency in their roles and actively contribute to the operations of DarkStar Expeditions. They play a vital role in executing missions, conducting research, and participating in transportation protection activities. Assistant Coordinator-ranked members may also have leadership responsibilities within their teams or departments.
3.7 Junior Associate:
Junior Associate ranks consist of new or less experienced members who are still developing their skills and knowledge within DarkStar Expeditions. They work under the guidance of seniors and middle-ranked members, actively participating in exploration missions, transportation protection operations, and other organizational activities to gain valuable experience and contribute to the overall goals of the organization.
3.8 It’s important to note that DarkStar Expeditions may have additional ranks or titles specific to certain divisions, departments, or positions within the organization to address specialized roles or responsibilities. The ranks listed above provide a general framework for understanding the hierarchy and progression within DarkStar Expeditions.
4.1 DarkStar Expeditions is committed to operating within the bounds of the law. All members must adhere to UEE, Sector, and Planetary laws.
Members of DarkStar Expeditions are prohibited from engaging in any of the following activities while a representative of DarkStar Expeditions:
a) Illegal Activities: Engaging in any form of illegal activities, including but not limited to theft, fraud, piracy, unauthorized access to restricted areas or information, or any other action that is deemed illegal and harmful to others by applicable laws and regulations.
b) Environmental Damage: Intentionally causing harm to the environment, wildlife, or natural resources during expeditions. This includes, but is not limited to, pollution, deforestation, illegal hunting or fishing, or any activity that may result in irreversible ecological damage.
c) Endangering Human Life: Intentionally putting the lives of fellow team members, local communities, or any individuals encountered during expeditions at risk. This includes reckless behavior, violence, or any action that compromises the safety and well-being of others.
d) Cultural and Historical Damage: Intentionally damaging or vandalizing cultural heritage sites, artifacts, or any other form of historical or archaeological significance.
e) Unauthorized Disclosure of Information: Sharing confidential or sensitive information obtained during expeditions without proper authorization or consent, especially if it infringes upon the rights or privacy of individuals or organizations.
4.2 Reporting Violations:
Any member who becomes aware of another member engaging in prohibited activities or violating the DarkStar Expeditions charter has an obligation to report such incidents to the appropriate authorities within the organization (CEO or Board Members). Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.
5.1 DarkStar Expeditions is committed to providing equal opportunities and maintaining a fun and inclusive environment for all members. Discrimination based on race, color, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, disability, or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited.
5.2 Selection and Recruitment: All recruitment and selection processes for new members will be conducted based on merit, qualifications, and relevant experience. DarkStar Expeditions does not tolerate any form of bias or discrimination .
5.3 Fair Treatment: Every member of DarkStar Expeditions, regardless of their background, will be treated with respect, fairness, and dignity. Harassment, bullying, or any form of discriminatory behavior towards fellow team members, partners, or individuals encountered during expeditions will not be tolerated.
5.4 Inclusive Culture: DarkStar Expeditions strives to foster an inclusive culture that values and respects the perspectives, contributions, and experiences of all members. It is the responsibility of each member to promote a welcoming and inclusive environment.
6.1 DarkStar Expeditions acknowledges that situations may arise where the use of force becomes necessary to protect the safety and security of team members, clients, or assets. The use of force shall be conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including those governing the use of force in the UEE. The following principles and guidelines govern the use of force within DarkStar Expeditions:
a) Justification: Force may only be used when necessary and when there is an immediate threat of harm to the safety and security of individuals or property. The use of force must be based on reasonable belief and in proportion to the threat faced.
b) Minimum Force: Force shall be used to the extent necessary to accomplish lawful objectives and shall be minimized if possible to prevent unnecessary harm or injury.
c) Self-Defense: Team members may use force in self-defense or in defense of others when there is a reasonable belief of an imminent threat of harm.
d) De-escalation: Whenever possible, team members shall attempt to de-escalate situations and resolve conflicts peacefully before resorting to the use of force.
7.1 DarkStar Expeditions is committed to providing comprehensive training to its personnel to ensure the highest quality of service and safe operations. All team members shall be provided training designed to enhance their skills, knowledge, and professionalism. The training shall cover a wide range of areas, including but not limited to:
a) Security and Safety Procedures: Training shall focus on effective security measures, emergency response protocols, and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of personnel and clients.
b) Use of Force and Firearms Training: Team members authorized to carry firearms shall receive specialized training on the lawful and responsible use of force, including de-escalation techniques, firearms proficiency, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
c) Conflict Resolution and Communication: Training shall emphasize effective communication, conflict resolution techniques, and cultural sensitivity to promote positive interactions and avoid discriminatory practices.
d) First Aid and Medical Training: Personnel shall receive training in first aid, CPR, and other relevant medical skills to provide immediate assistance in emergencies and ensure the well-being of individuals.
e) Specialized Role Training: Personnel assigned to specific roles within DarkStar Expeditions, such as pilots, radar operators, or vehicle and ship maintenance technicians, shall undergo specialized training pertinent to their respective responsibilities.
f) Ongoing Professional Development: DarkStar Expeditions shall provide continuous training opportunities to update and enhance the skills and knowledge of its personnel, keeping them up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends.
8.1. Current Focus and Future Expansion
DarkStar Expeditions is presently focused on its core operations of exploration and transportation. However, the organization acknowledges that with the growth of its employee base and sufficient capital, there may arise opportunities for expansion into other areas of interest that align with its mission and values.
8.2. Potential Areas of Expansion
a) Security Services:
In the future, DarkStar Expeditions may consider the provision of security services within the confines of the law. This may involve safeguarding assets, personnel, and clients during expeditions, as well as offering consultation and risk assessment expertise to external entities.
b) Information Services:
DarkStar Expeditions recognizes the value of information and the need to disseminate knowledge acquired during exploration endeavors. Consequently, there may be a future interest in providing information services, such as data analysis, research, and the development of databases or archives.
c) Trade and Commerce:

It seeks to expand humanity’s knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of the universe, its celestial bodies, and the mysteries they hold.
b) Responsibilities:
The Exploration Department is responsible for planning and executing expeditions to unexplored regions, conducting scientific investigations, collecting data, and documenting findings. It strives to foster collaboration with scientists, researchers, and experts from diverse disciplines to maximize the impact of exploration efforts.
c) Activities:
The Exploration Department’s activities include but are not limited to:
i. Identifying uncharted regions and celestial bodies for exploration.
ii. Planning and organizing expeditions, including logistical arrangements, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
iii. Conducting scientific research, experiments, and observations to further scientific understanding.
iv. Collecting and analyzing data, specimens, and samples for study and documentation.
v. Collaborating with external institutions, agencies, and experts to promote knowledge sharing and interdisciplinary research.
vi. Promoting public outreach and education through the dissemination of scientific discoveries and engaging the public in the excitement of exploration.
9.2 Transportation Department
a) Purpose:
The Transportation Department of DarkStar Expeditions is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of personnel, equipment, and resources. It ensures that all transportation operations adhere to high standards of safety, reliability, and professionalism.
b) Responsibilities:
The Transportation Department is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of transportation within DarkStar Expeditions. This includes:
i. Coordinating and planning transportation logistics for personnel, equipment, and supplies.
ii. Maintaining and managing a fleet of vehicles, spacecraft, and other transportation assets.
iii. Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards in all transportation activities.
iv. Developing and implementing training programs for transportation personnel to ensure their competence and adherence to safety protocols.
v. Conducting regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs of transportation assets to uphold their operational readiness.
vi. Monitoring transportation operations to optimize efficiency, minimize environmental impact, and mitigate risks.
c) Collaboration:
The Transportation Department collaborates closely with other departments within DarkStar Expeditions. It also liaises with external transportation providers and agencies when necessary to secure specialized transportation services or resources.
9.3 Continuous Improvement:
All Departments are committed to continuous improvement, seeking innovative solutions and technologies to enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability. They regularly evaluate they’re processes, procedures, and performance to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
10.1 Eligibility: Membership in DarkStar Expeditions is open to individuals who share our vision, values, and commitment to exploration and transportation protection. Prospective members must send in an application which will be reviewed by the CEO or at least one Board Member.
10.2 Rights and Responsibilities: Members of DarkStar Expeditions have the following rights and responsibilities:
a) Right to Participation: Members have the right to participate in organization activities, including exploration missions and transportation operations.
b) Responsibility for Collaboration: Members are expected to collaborate with one another, share knowledge and expertise, and foster a fun and inclusive environment within DarkStar Expeditions.
c) Profits: DarkStar Expeditions operations profits will be shared between the individual members who participated in the operation.
d) Compliance with Charter: Members must adhere to the provisions outlined in this charter, including the organization’s values, code of conduct, and operational guidelines.
e) Loyalty and Non-Disclosure: Members are expected to demonstrate loyalty to DarkStar Expeditions and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive organizational information and proprietary data. However, members are allowed to be associated with other organizations within the verse as long as it doesn’t hinder DarkStar operations.
10.3 Termination of Membership: Membership in DarkStar Expeditions may be terminated if a member violates the organization’s values, code of conduct, or fails to fulfill their responsibilities. The decision to terminate membership will be made by the CEO and the Leadership Team, taking into account the best interests of the organization.
Amendments to this charter may be proposed by any member of DarkStar Expeditions. Proposed amendments will be reviewed by the Leadership Team, and if deemed necessary and beneficial to the organization, they will be subject to a vote among the members.
Amendments require a two-thirds majority vote by the board members and approval by the CEO to be approved. Once approved, the amended charter will take effect immediately, and all members will be expected to abide by the revised provisions.
This charter serves as the guiding document for DarkStar Expeditions. By upholding the principles and commitments set forth in this charter, we strive to realize our vision of exploration, discovery, and safe transportation within the verse.
