History
Defcon X is an outfit created on Planetside 2 in June of 2017.
Founded by JohnnyR1c0, the outfit’s creation was to fill a purpose for the New Conglomerate that went long untouched due to dwindling player counts on Auraxis. As a Quick Reaction Force (QRF), we were formed as a highly organized, tactical group, keeping discipline above pride and listening to our commanders at all costs. We have often trained newcomers willing to take in our expertise in shooting and transport. While requirements to join originally were fairly steep with a kill/death cap and a level cap, the caps were soon reduced and then dropped as players meeting those requirements were in short supply and as long as players want to learn, they are valuable to DEFx.
During our time on Auraxis, we have consistently hosted special operations weekly on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 7:00 PM PST. Training sessions and scrimmages have either been initiated between our own members or have been set to certain days, often times occurring within the hour before our special operations. These special operations are usually 1-3 hours of extremely efficient and disciplined play under the command of a single platoon leader and 1-4 squad leaders depending on player count during the time of operations.
We intend to stay as a small, organized outfit sitting at approximately 60-90 members. We are looking to expand beyond beautiful Auraxis and Star Citizen is our next step.
Manifesto
We are a QUICK REACTION FORCE.
We’re here to put down the opposition, either with justice and reason, or through the barrel of gun.
On the battlefield, change is constant, and targets of opportunites appear and disappear quickly. We believe a Quick Reaction Force can quickly adapt to that change, whatever the costs. An efficient QRF can strike deep in enemy territory or stop any frontline attack under the right command, targeting High Value Targets in order to disrupt the opposing flow on the battlefield.
This QRF is team focused, highly organized, and comprised of highly motivated individuals. These individuals tirelessly train towards specialized warfare yielding loadouts designed specifically to counter the enemy and their movement. In a QRF, each individual is given a unique assignment and responsibility that ensures the success of their squad, platoon, and outfit.

Responsiveness – Be able to quickly disseminate information and react with appropriate action.
Personal Development – Be willing to continuously improve your skills and your level of gameplay.
2. In-Game
Join Teamspeak – We use Teamspeak to maximize communication up-time and to foster our community.
Follow orders from your platoon and squad leaders – Never question the order, questioning orders creates chaos and is a detractor to any order given.
Communicate appropriately – Battle Comms/Clear Comms/Loose Comms.
BREAKING THE CODE
Infractions of this code will generally result in progressive discipline. However, leaders & commanders reserve the right to suspend or terminate outfit membership without progressive discipline when deemed necessary.
