The Dokazon Corporation members are notorious for their insatiable greed. They believe that the purpose of every individual member is to serve the corporation.

History

Origins:

The UEE tell that the Dokazon were once a group of mercenary’s of supreme and absolute good, but they tried to become even more good, which caused them to “wrap around” the good-evil scale, resulting in the evil corporation now associated with the name Dokazon. The accuracy of this tale is uncertain.

The Dokazon name is a combination of the twin gods of death and destruction, Dogar and Kazon. They represent everything that is evil in the universe. Existing in direct opposition to the pantheon of gods representing virtue and social order that existed in ancient Dokazon civilizations, whom the Dokazon now believe Dogar and Kazon to have destroyed.

History:

Early Dokazon history bears a close resemblance to early UEE history, but as is the case, minor differences in early social structures have produced a vastly different culture. Thus fostering a greater emphasis on the individual and a greater concern for personal well-being. Despite their strong, innate individual tendencies, the Dokazon created a working civilization. This early society included some form of government, including laws regarding the economy and the interactions of commercial entities. The Dokazon significantly changed their trade laws so that they no longer discouraged the formation of monopolies. Due to this legal relaxation, a single business, the Dokazon Corporation, was able to rise to prominence, inevitably becoming the only existing Dokazon business and the legal owner of everything Dokazon. Not only a business, it also operates as the government of the entire Dokazon controlled space. All known interactions with the Dokazon by other races have been while the Dokazon Corporation has been in power.

Dokazon Corporation:

The Dokazon Corporation is the business syndicate that controls and operates everything Dokazon. All Dokazon members are employees of the Corporation. The Corporation also operates all trade and business transactions within Dokazon controlled space, most of which occur at the Corporation’s Central Trade World.

Earlier in Dokazon history, there existed several businesses, each vying for superiority. It was only when anti-monopoly laws were relaxed that a single company achieved dominance. The early Dokazon Corporation absorbed all other companies through leveraged buyout tactics, eventually becoming the sole owner of all the Dokazon assets — not just the ships, but also including the atmosphere and light within them. This monolithic corporation became the de facto culture and governing body of the Dokazon.

All Dokazon seek for the betterment of the Corporation, not out of a sense of community, but, being highly individualistic, for the personal benefit packages. The Corporation improves the individual Dokazon’s quality of life through what they term the “Dribble-Down” effect. An individual profits more by being further up the ladder. Should the Corporation be losing money, it cuts costs by laying off the employees at the bottom of the ladder. Ex-employees of the Corporation are no longer eligible for such fringe benefits such as breathing. The penalty for trespassing on company property and stealing company property like air and light is to be fed to the furnace, literally. Thus the voluntary job turnover rate is extremely low. Retirement plans in the Corporation usually contain provisions that include breathing benefits, though at reduced levels

The Dokazon like to justify their actions with conveniently convoluted legal and ethical systems. For example, they hold unescorted transports in their territory responsible for encouraging piracy, as their vulnerable ships are likely to attract belligerent plunderers. Therefore, any Dokazon vessel may attack and plunder such ships and penalize their crews with indefinite slavery.
