Dover Industries… where tomorrow begins.™
Founded in the year 2795 just prior to The Fair Chance Act being signed, our Founder, Raimus Dover started out on Stanton IV, now Microtech. It was rough going those first few years, but the business and Raimus were tenacious and he managed to build a Company that turned out excellent electronic devices.
In 2804 (year to be determined) Raimus was approached by an individual claiming to be representing a client that wanted to remain anonymous. The offer to buy Dover Electronics was overwhelmingly too good to pass up and Raimus sold Dover Electronics to an unknown entity. As Raimus pondered what to do with his fortune, he began tinkering in several different lines of business and that is how Dover Industries came to be.
In 2899, the last of the Dover family quietly passed away without a son to carry on the family name. Dover Industries was taken over by the eldest daughter, Alissa Jensen and the Company underwent a complete overhaul. By the end of 2902, Dover Industries was once again a lean, profitable company spurred-on by innovation and ideas which Alissa fostered.
To Alissa was born her last child in the year 2904, Storm Jensen. Within 20 years, Alissa would succumb to Astroroidic Fever, most likely acquired during her last jaunt to Yela. A young Storm Jensen was forced into action and began running the day to day affairs of Dover Industries.
Storm has been responsible for the modernization of Dover Industries. Within the last 20 years, Storm has added Logistics, Security, Transportation, Ångstrom Åeronautics, and the Jensen News Network to the Dover Industries roster. “Only through modernizing our Company will we be positioned to move forward in a synergistic relationship with all divisions working towards a common goal,” Storm Jensen was quoted via JNN.
For nearly 142 years, Dover Industries has striven to drive all branches to be the best in their field. To date, Dover Industries has the following Divisions active;
