Equea Galactica

EG was founded by a group of 4 friends all hyped about the release of Star Citizen and wanting to make a difference in the Verse.

The group was founded as a private military company due to most of us wanting to focus on Combat through accepting freelance contracts, however we also decided that only focussing on combat could make it a little difficult at the beginning.

With that in mind and the fact that some of our ships are multi role we decided we would side-line in trade. this also means that in quiet periods between contracts we can trade and escort our own convoys and earn money for the organisation (and ourselves of course) at all times.

Our fleet has since expanded into both mining with 2 orions and exploration with a carrack allowing us to hopefully become a self sufficient organisation

Manifesto

The plan for the future of the organisation is to gather like minded, casual and friendly individuals to the cause and have some fun while improving the status and skills of the organisation.

eventually we hope to expand into a sizable organisation with several carrier squadrons for escort duty and a sizable trade and mining backbone.

Charter

we don’t believe in too many rules as an organisation, from past experiences too many small rules can kill a group
however in order for the organisation to run effectively people will need to follow some main guidelines.

  • All members will use Discord for the organisation, at least until a suitable stable comms system in game.
  • all members will show loyalty to the contract. once accepted members will attempt to complete it to the Best of their ability. (ask for help if you need it)
  • Company contracts will take priority and be handed out by the respective senior members.
  • if individuals actions affect the organisations standings (ie piracy) then all contracts and trade goods accepted will be above board (legal).
  • bounty hunting contracts, as long as they conform to the above point will be accepted.
  • any trade runners for the company who would like company escort need to log a contract with a senior officer.
