Red Embers / EMBERED

The Red Embers was started by Captain Rykal Skyrider, as a place for players to find a welcoming, inclusive environment to ENJOY playing the game. Our goal is to have enough members that everyone can do the job(s) they WANT to do and enjoy doing, whether it’s one role on a ship or mutiple roles on many types of missions. Do you want to be a miner? …a space trucker? Do you want to be a medic? Do you want to be a race driver/pilot? Do you want to be a turret gunner? …ship’s engineer? Do you want to be a combat pilot or FPS warrior? Whatever you want to do and whatever role(s) you want to fill in the ‘verse, the Red Embers has a place for YOU. As the game expands and more roles become available, your place in the Red Embers can be as singular or as varied as you want it to be.

Currently, there are the following “divisions” of the Red Embers:

Red Ember Rescue – Medical rescue and recovery
Red Ember Racing – Ground vehicle and spaceship racing
Red Ember Reclamation – Salvage and recovery
Starbreaker Industries – Mining
Eternal Expanse – Tourism and transport

Membership in the “divisions” is nebulus, at best. Basically, the division you’re in depends on the missions we’re doing at any given time and what you feel like doing. One thing we will never do, no matter what missions we may be doing, is “gank” or grief another player. If someone attacks us, all bets are off. However, if we come upon someone mining or salvaging (or whatever), we’ll ask them if they need anything. Maybe we can give them some nutrition/hydration? Maybe we can do something else for them. Red Embers originally began as a rescue organization, and that’s something we’ll continue to keep at the heart of the org, no matter how large we become.

Are you an average (or even below average) player, and just want to play the game (and hopefully get better)? That’s absolutely awesome! Have you stayed away from orgs because you didn’t feel you could contribute? We have a home for you in the Red Embers. If you’re having fun, you ARE contributing! Are you serious about your gaming? Are you a total goofball at times? We have a place for you, either way. Diversity, variety, and inclusiveness are what we’re all about…oh, and having fun…and helping other players; all that, and more. Making money ingame is good too, and we plan on plenty of that, but it’s not our primary objective. We rather be broke and happy than miserable and rich. Of course, happy and rich is still the best.
