History

The Empyrean Trade Corporation’s history begins in 2926, after the Founder and current President Casey Cash struggled to locate 32 tons of cargo that went missing during a routine shipment he had sourced out to an ‘unnamed’ large, corporate trade entity. The cargo was never found, and Casey moved on to another intersystem trade company. Upon running across similar issues with yet another near non existent customer service, and upon hearing about the same issues from friends and family, Casey set off on creating his own trade company that properly focused on the customer.

Setting off with Homerun and Rsmv, Casey started a new company, titled Empyreal Trades Incorporated, in hopes that they could offer a superior service to the gargantuan trade companies already dominating the UEE territory. Heading into the dominated market, running a business that they had no experience operating, the three person company marched out into uncharted territory. After a rocky start, Empyreal Trades was able to score a huge business oppurtunity delivering raw materials for the Synthworld project via connections Casey made while serving in the military. The new deal led to massive growth for Empyreal Trades, and the future of the company looked bright. As the company grew, Emyreal Trades Inc. began diverting resources from other departments in order to accommodate the massive growth in the operations department. Even though Empyreal Trades Inc. was a recent start up company, less than a decade old, it was a huge success.

Things were great, however the team at Empyreal Trades felt unsatisfied. After all the work they had done to create such a powerful company, Casey decided to pull the plug. After reviewing the success of the company, Casey realized that he had fallen in the same trap as every other major trading company. He had neglected the customer. The stability and revenue that the Synthworld project brought to the trade companies made them complacent, it took away the customer and replaced them with contracts and negotiations. This was not the original idea behind Empyreal Trades Inc., thus Casey disbanded the company and decided to start over, this time the right way.

With experience and resources in hand, Casey set out to create a company that would cater to the universe, not to some project. The idea was simple: create a company that catered to the customer. A company that upheld responsibility and accountability for itself. Thus, in 2939, The Empyrean Trade Corporation was founded. The company was created in hopes that by centering on the customer, no matter who they were, a standard could be set. This standard would allow for friendly relations no matter the position, race, or status of a customer. This also meant a company that would outlast any project, a company that was prepared for anything. This meant the Empyrean Trade Corporation.
