Our History

Founding (2459-2500)

The Exoplanetary Wayfinders Alliance (EWA or ExoWay) traces its roots back to the earliest forays into space exploration. As humanity ventured beyond the confines of the Sol system, corporations and independent entities engaged in the discovery of new frontiers. Among these pioneers were surveyors, miners, and explorers driven by the promise of untold resources beyond the stars. The Exoplanetary Wayfinders Alliance was conceived in 2459 as a collaborative effort of small and medium organizations to pool resources and knowledge to discover, protect, and extract commodities in uncharted regions of space and compete against the largest of businesses looking to claim uncharted resources for their own.

The First Discoveries (2500-2600)

Over the next century, EWA played a pivotal role in discovering multiple LowSec and NullSec systems, uncovering rich reserves of valuable commodities. The Alliance’s member organizations utilized cutting-edge exploration vessels and technology to chart and identify resource-rich planets, moons, and asteroid belts. As the exploration expanded, EWA established a reputation for charting safe routes and providing vital information on threats to their member organizations in these new territories.

Conflict and Dissolution (2600-2833):

As the influence of the Alliance grew, so did competition for resource extraction rights. Rival factions within and outside the EWA vied for control over lucrative mining sites, leading to conflicts and tensions. While the EWA attempted to navigate diplomatic negotiations and employ its security forces to safeguard friendly member operations, the rift caused by hostile factions split apart the alliance and forced its dissolution in 2833.

Modern Era (2950-Present):

The Exoplanetary Wayfinders Alliance has been resurrected by two retired merchant marines, Cornelius J. Noemard and Russell “Rusty” Crabtree, to reclaim its former glory as a cornerstone of interstellar resource extraction, transportation, and protection. Inspired by the tales of triumph shared during long cargo missions, both decided it was time for the EWA to assist and aid those who want to find their own fortunes in the unknown. We are starting to expand our reach across multiple-star systems, collaborating with various corporations, security firms, and scientific institutions.
