Welcome to the Free Traders. Our purpose is in our name: You are free to pursue any trade you deem worthy of your time.

Everyone has their own style. Everyone, here, is the same rank. This Corporation is dedicated to the free spirit of humanity, within honorable bounds.

History

Day One: The CEO stayed up far past his bedtime making a shoddy Logo for the Corporation.

Day Two: Logo Creation Contest begins. All entries will be given due consideration.

Day Three: The CEO calmly sipped his beer and watched the tumbleweeds roll on by.

Day Four: The CEO didn’t do a damn thing but sleep all day. It was fantastic.

Day Five: Mr. CEO sent out official invitations in a futile effort to create interest in what his company represents.

Day Six: Invitation to Angelina Jolie returned with an attached note addressed to Top Gear. Message read as follows “Sorry, but…”

… And on the Seventh Day, the CEO was tackled out of his command chair and force-fed sunlight and exercise. This was found to be devastating to morale and overall short-term health.

Manifesto

Explorer? Hauler? Bounty Hunter? Are you a specialist in involuntary reappropriation of economic goods? All positions are open.

Free Traders, Inc. is about doing what you want. It’s about doing what you want with friends and comrades available any time you need help or just want to throw around some witty banter. There is no real command structure here. The primary driving force behind the collective action of this Corporation is profit, but it doesn’t matter how you manage it, or even whether you manage it.

Don’t go it alone. We can all have fun however we please, but it’s always nice to let someone else drive while you hold the trigger on the biggest, craziest turret in the fleet.

In other news, people having voice comms is preferable. Still don’t know for sure how that’s going to work in the finalized game, but it’s something to keep in mind. And of course we don’t have pirates, here. Nope. Nothing to see. Move along. Well, send in an application first and then… Yeah.

Charter

This Corporation was founded on the belief that everyone should be free to do as they please, yet there are some basic rules that make everyone far more pleased in the end:

1.) Be polite and honorable in all things.
2.) Don’t lie, cheat, or steal from your comrades, be they members or friends of the Corporation.
3.) Have fun, and above all: Profit.
