Manifesto

G-S.E.C. aims to becoming a massive company in both size and reputation, setting its target to be one the leading PMCs in the galaxy. Whilst small at the moment we aim to grow as fast but as cautious as possible. Therefore we shall be taking as many experienced members in as possible but only promoting those who have proved to their superiors that they are worthy and trustworthy to hold such a position.
Being such a small company G-S.E.C. cannot offer many benefits in becoming a member but our aim is to become as big as possible, including a time when members will actually be paid by the company for certain jobs. Those that are loyal we be well rewarded in peak times, even those of lower rank. G-S.E.C. will offer bonuses to those that bring quality personnel to the company, To those that bring big business to the company and to those that increase our reputation. Valuable members will be rewarded and not overlooked!

G-S.E.C. OPERATIONS GUIDE

The following is a code of conduct whilst under the employment of G-S.E.C. Failure to follow correct procedures might result in disciplinary action, including ejection from the company and/or banishment from G-S.E.C. territory. This guide is to help in the smooth running of the company but can be updated/improved if members and founders agree on new protocols.

Ranks and Superiority

G-S.E.C. is a private military company and therefore all members are classed into ranks. The promotion of rank will be subject to skill, leadership, loyalty and other factors which have been deemed appropriate for promotion. The ranks are as follow starting from lowest to highest; Ensign, Lieutenant, Captain, Commodore, Admiral, Star Admiral. Each member will follow orders from those of a higher rank. Those that are of the same rank will then be decided by sub-commands and then by length of service. Sub-commands are given to those of rank captain and above, these include Enlister (Captain), Consultant (Commodore) and Commander (Admiral).

Working with this hierarchy system all reports and/or complaints should be made to the next highest officer, unless the compliant is about a superior officer which should then be passed on to the next level of superiority. Orders will be given down the hierarchy chain in the same fashion. These rules might not apply with Fleet Commanders (see below).

Sub-Commands

Upon reaching the rank of Captain he/she might be given the advanced rank of Enlister Captain, giving them the power to accept or deny newcomers to the company. This we be given only to those that have proved themselves as trustworthy.
At the Rank of Commodore the member might be given the advanced rank of Consulting Commodore which will give them access to branding. This will be given to those with skill at recruiting and/or marketing.
Like the previous ranks, at Admiral a member might be given the advanced rank of Commanding Admiral, Which is the 2nd highest honour and given to those that have proved themselves completely. They will have control of promotion/demotions and giving rewards to deserving members.

Disciplinary Action

Upon the situation of rule breaking the member in question will be disciplined by their next in command, though an officer of higher rank can also take control if he/she wishes. G-S.E.C. follows the basis of 3 strikes and you are out rule. Whilst under a disciplinary the member might not receive a strike if the commanding officer deems the offence not to be too serious but he/she will take the number of offences into account. All disciplines, weather a strike was given or not, will be reported to a Commanding Admiral or above, via the Commander E-mail address. With a third strike or an offence of an extreme serious nature a commanding Admiral,or above, will eject the member from the company. Depending on the offence the member may be banned from entering G-S.E.C. territory and/or forever dissociated from the company.

Below are a list of rules which must be followed. Please note that not all situation are listed here but can still be prosecuted.

1. Orders must be followed. Even if you do not agree with your superior officer, he/she is in command and you will follow their orders. If a mission is a failure an investigation might be launched.
2. Everyone must contribute. G-S.E.C.is a small company and we will be reliant in the early days of everyone pulling their weight. Members who contribute more will be recognized and rewarded.
3. Respect your superior officers. G-S.E.C. is a role-playing organization and therefore all members will act as professional as possible. Arguing with your CO will not be tolerated and members should address them accordingly.
4. Respect other members and the public. Bullying will not be tolerated and those who persist will be ejected from the company and reported to Star Citizen Admin. This also includes trolling, G-S.E.C. intends to have a reputation of being a professional company.
5. Stealing. This offence doesn’t need an explanation but will not be tolerated. G-S.E.C. understand that those new to the game that they might make a mistake but as long as no harm is done, no one will be prosecuted.
6. No Friendly fire! Attacking a fellow member (without consent) is not acceptable behaviour and will be punished if deemed intentional or numerous incidents.
7. Inactivity. G-S.E.C. is for regular gamers. Though we are not asking for hardcore players (though they are very welcome) we still require our members to be online at least a little bit. Therefore a month of inactivity will be counted as a strike (unless a reasonable excuse is given), after 4 months of inactivity the member will automatically be ejected from the company but may reapply for employment afterwards. It is the duty of commanding officers to check on the inactivity of their members, failure to do so will be punishable offence.

(If any member thinks of another rule please do not be afraid to contact me.)
