Hook and Black Securities P.M.C. aims to offer fun, and interesting combat game play, while providing the opportunity to explore other aspects of the universe. We are looking at maintaining a size that keeps things personal, while having enough people online to accomplish moderate/sizable tasks.

History

Hook and Black Securities is an investment firm, its PMC subsidiary was initially setup to provide security to clients and their investments. Over time the security business turned out to be more lucrative than just providing client side security. PMC became a for hire paramilitary service offering escort details, bounty hunting and other combat related services. With its new found success, PMC expanded into other areas of business activities such as mining, trading, exploration, salvaging, ship tuning and sales.

Hook and Black is a small scale gaming community, with members who play a wide range of games, most of them centering around team game play. It was initially set up during the Planetside 2 beta and has grown from there. Many friends from other games have joined us from games like Eve-O, Guild Wars 2, and Rift.

For us, Star Citizen offers a large sandbox universe to explore in terms of scale and combine with a detailed twitch combat system; while still offers a personalized experience.

We are looking for like minded people, who want to enjoy the game, expand their own personal skill, and work as a team towards a common goal.

What are we looking for in our members:

  • Team Players over Lone Wolfs; you don’t need to be the best pilots, just willing to learn and be a member of the team.
  • You should be supportive of our goals as an organization; this will include logging on regularly and taking part in organization run events each week.
  • Follow through with what you volunteer to do for the organization; if you promise to run an operation, fulfill a organization contract, run escort, etc… — Then do it.
  • Be level headed, mature, respectful of your fellow members and other people playing the game. When on operations, follow orders and stick with the team.

The organization is run as a military structure, so we do have a chain of command. We are not a democracy. If members have concerns, opinions, views, or input on a particular issue or subject, they will be listen too. However, the Command group will make all final decisions on the direction of the Organization pertaining to how it is run and the implementation of its rules and regulations.

Here are a couple of questions we ask out recruits, when helping to decided if they are what we want, and if they are interested in our play style.
