All of the divisions are ran individually and differently, yet they all work very close together, to make it all workout!

Manifesto

HONESTY, INTEGRITY and TRANSPARENCY are very important to us at Horizon and we don’t feel the need to hide this fact.

Horizon Corporation believes that our time here should be spent enjoying the finest luxury and entertainment the ‘verse has to offer! Like many others, dreams of fame and fortune have danced through our heads ever since we were children. Unlike the others, we acted upon that dream and made it into a reality. We offer a home to ambitious people who have the same goal as us and give them the opportunities they need to bring their dreams to fruition! When this organization was founded in 2792, we set out with one goal in mind: Profit. This mindset often leads to others labeling or denouncing us. We take that in stride though, because at the end of the day, we are the ones who come out on top. Whether you like it or not, money will always be the most influential factor in peoples’ lives. Which is why we strive to deliver top-notch service, always. So people can enjoy the verse the same way we expect to enjoy it.

Profits and losses, these concepts are what keep the economy moving and by extension, the entire ‘verse. Money is power and in the right hands anything is possible. We at Horizon understand this and plan to capitalize on it in any way possible. From the very beginning we knew that the only way to succeed in such a competitive environment was to sacrifice anything and everything at the cost of profit. The first few years were rough, but through passion and determination we grew into a respectable business. We give our members a platform to operate and profit any way they see fit so that they can achieve their goals. Hard work and labor can only get you so far in life though, being a part of this organization means going beyond that.

The second key part to our business is ventures and investments. Whether the risks we take are big or small, chances must be taken regardless. Our team works tirelessly to scout out and evaluate the best enterprises to pursue. Just some of the industries we’ve invested in include: Recreational drugs such as WiDow and Neon, as well as legal trade and side items like stims and spirits. We also have a foothold in the weapons market with our investments in Jumptown, Joker Engineering, and Drake Interplanetary, just to name a few. These, along with many other carefully selected businesses and startups, Horizon Corporation has been able to reach the success you see today.

Though the products and ethics of the companies may not reflect our own beliefs, we still wish to publicly acknowledge them and everything they do for us. With this network of companies we’ve assembled, we are able to enjoy the fruits of our labor while still providing our members the necessary opportunities and resources they need to succeed. The access revenue is enjoyed as it should be;

In our mind there is nothing wrong with enjoying a little luxury after you’ve put in the work to get it. All of our profits aren’t just spent on our own entertainment. Horizon Corporation gives back to the community as often as possible. Horizon Corporation sponsors and participates in many public events and competitions. We reward those who demonstrate skill and passion in their fields and entice them to try their hardest by offering rewards. This not only allows people to push their abilities to the limit, but also provides entertainment to us and everyone watching. We are always planning new and exciting events to keep the masses contempt. Label us how you will, we will continue to enjoy what we’ve rightfully earned!

Charter

VIEW FULL CHARTER

This Charter delineates the authorities and rights that govern the organizational structuring, operations, and philosophy of the Horizon Corporation as well as the formal recognition of the prerogative of its employees.

1. Corporation Goals
To create a friendly environment that operates in a democratic way where the employees vote on major corporate actions. There is to be a clear hierarchy, with an emphasis placed on player freedom of choice within the corporation. This Corporation is a professional environment that is intended to be casual where someone can mine while drinking a beer, tell dirty jokes, and express themselves freely as long as they aren’t abusing anyone. Socially the line is drawn at cruelty, abuse, and clearly unethical behavior.

2. Corporation Structure
Horizon Corporation is a lawful global organization that follows a True-Neutral stance, with the goal of always having 20-50 people online in each region so no one is left lonely or isolated. Recruitment will continue until this goal is met. True-Neutral means the organization does not hold absolute alignment with any entity and seeks first and foremost the balance and stability of itself.

In-Game Code of Conduct (COC)
All employees agree to abide by the Horizon Corporation code of conduct (COC) under which the following clauses stipulate acceptable behavior.
I. Corporation Before Others
Good or bad, first and foremost the conduct of Horizon Corporation employees should reflect what is in the best interest of the organization and its employees. Employees are expected to judge to the best of their ability the best course of action to take in any given situation based on the COC if an administrative member is absent to clarify.
II. Violence Begets Violence
Unless otherwise sanctioned by vote or a planned operation, employees are expected to respect general Rules of Engagement (ROE) and refrain from random acts of aggression that might otherwise lead to reactionary aggression towards the Corporation. This clause does not apply to acts of self-defence nor non-lethal preventative measures.

The Rules of Engagement (ROE) is a shortlist of acceptable conduct for players when acting outside of organization operations and in freeplay.
Rules of Engagement (ROE)
1 – You have the right to use force to defend yourself against attacks or reasonable threats of attack.
2 – Detainment of non-employees is authorized for security reasons or in self-defense.
3 – Play smart, not hard.
4 – Corporation practices, trade secrets, etc stays within the corporation.

III. Integrity
In order for Horizon Corporation to operate in a way that provides members with the best opportunities it follows that dishonest and deceitful relations with other orgs will foster negative sentiment. As such – when not conflicting with Clause I – all members should endeavor to operate honestly and with integrity.
IV. Resourcefulness of Reciprocation
As follows from Clause I – when dealing with non-members – help the needy when not at a hindrance to oneself, support those who support you. This conduct promotes beneficial relationships with other players/organizations that may lead to opportunities and aid.
V. Mindfulness and Patience
While members are permitted to make use of their best judgement when confronting an ambiguous situation absent of administrative clarification, it must be remembered that sometimes taking time to gather more information and properly review your options can prevent common mistakes brought on by careless and quick judgement.
VI. Coordination Before Conflict
Horizon Corporation members are fundamentally here to enjoy time with each other and in-game. There will no-doubt be numerous occasions where members disagree in situations where debate is not efficient nor is it practical. We plan before as best we can and vote to agreement on our course of action. As such, all members should do their best to avoid conflict and disagreement during active time-sensitive Horizon Corporation ops. This does not mean members should avoid voicing constructive opinions and other possible options mid-operation, but that if the recommendation is considered and then rejected by the administrator or the majority during the op the member should not argue it further. This procedure allows for the freedom and creativity of member input/influence while maintaining optimal efficiency.

In-Game Organization Structure
As the game has not been completed and many aspects of gameplay are yet to be determined and implemented the current structure of the organization is subject to expansion and re-organization. The current structure seeks to best provide the foundation for organizational gameplay.

Divisions
At present, Horizon Corporation has a multitude of Divisions to cater to each employee’s needs. The Divisions an employee can participate in are as follows.

- Exploration & Information Intelligence Division
- Logistics Division
- Science/Medical Division
- Security Division

Unlike real life a player may swap in and out of divisions as they like. However, if they ignore their division obligations their Director or Manager may omit them from future rosters.
