Our Roleplay Mission:
Our Advocacy consist of many highly well-trained Special Agents. We follow and refer to the laws and command of the original Advocacy. Peter Upshaw is still our current High Advocate. The Director of the Advocacy is Thomas Carmody. Thomas Carmody currently works out of the Advocacy Office in New York, Earth, Sol.
There is also currently a massive amount of Advocacy Agents in the area. Some include Rowena Dulli who is an Advocacy Special-Agent-In-Charge. Known for her role during the 2951 XenoThreat crisis where she served as the point of contact for the civilian counter-operation. She is currently serving as the official attaché to the Civilian Defense Force (CDF).
Another Special Agent in the area being Rebecca Trejo who is a Special-Agent-In-Charge (SAC) stationed in the Odin system. Agent Trejo was promoted to SAC and transferred to the Odin system on 2946-07-04, after a very successful anti-drug operation called “Operation Forseti” in the Oya system.
We willingly work with any other Advocacy Agents that are in the area, including other Advocacy Organizations.
UEE Advocacy Backstory:
The United Empire of Earth Advocacy also known as “The Advocacy” is an inter-system police force formed in 2523, serving the United Empire of Earth (UEE).
Well-trained Advocacy agents who rely as much on their piloting skills, as their superior investigative ability, are rightly feared by the criminal world. They are well-trained in pursuit and apprehension techniques, skilled pilots and thorough investigators. Most Advocacy Agents operate alone but teams of them can be dispatched for high-profile targets or situations of implied violence. The real danger of the Advocacy Agent is what they represent. A criminal could kill an innocent civilian and a responding cop…. but “The Advocacy” will just continually send Special Agents until they “ghost” the criminal and justice is served.
The Director of the Advocacy reports to the High-Advocate and oversees all law enforcement throughout the UEE. While local systems and planets do have their own police and security, the Advocacy supersedes their authority, and its agents are authorized to exercise more power in pursuit of crimes across systems.
While the Advocacy does handle fugitives, they have been known to outsource to the Bounty Hunter Guild.
The History of UEE Advocacy:
Formed in 2523 when the United Nations of Earth transformed into the United Planets of Earth (UPE) to handle the needs of interplanetary justice.
The Advocacy was designed to be an inter-system police force under the High Advocate. During the fascist Messer Era, the Advocacy took on a darker role as the Imperator’s Secret Police, Intelligence, and Espionage agency. The extent of their actions is still unknown but what made the role so dark is Advocacy officials at the time were implicated in high-profile assassinations, the apprehension and torture of non-compliant elements in the populace, and propaganda mongers.
When the Imperator fell, they were reconstituted to their original purpose.
While most planets were expected to police themselves, the Advocacy handled crimes that crossed planets and systems, fugitives and even extra-jurisdictional extractions (pursuit into Banu or Xi’an territory). Advocacy Agents are generally feared among the criminal community. They are highly-trained Agents in many aspects some including; pursuit and apprehension techniques, piloting and thorough investigator. Most Advocacy Agents operate alone but teams of them can be dispatched for high-profile targets or situations.
