History
This shadowy organization has always been more rumor than fact, a thing of myth and legend. For hundreds of years there have been claims of plots involving an Imperial Assassin’s Guild. One of the older legends has it that the Guild is in fact a shadow operation of the Imperial government. This cannot be substantiated by anything official in the Imperial records, but the rumors are that if your security clearance is high enough, then you can see that there are related records that are redacted from a higher clearance level. The IAG is a favorite, perennial topic of conspiracy theorists throughout Imperial space.
Manifesto
The Imperial Assassin’s Guild is the galaxy’s premier money maker and revenge taker. You want a competitor to just disappear? You want a prototype of forbidden alien tech or some drug import that even the scumbag local dealers don’t dare touch? If you are willing to pay enough, and we think we can do it, then you can have anything you desire. If the IAG makes a contract with you, it must be fulfilled. The IAG may not choose to take on your contract, but if we do, it WILL be completed.
Charter
Rule 1: Don’t talk about the Guild with anyone.
Rule 2: Once a contract is accepted by the Guild it must be fulfilled.
Rule 3: Don’t take a contract unless it is officially sanctioned by the IAG leadership.
Rule 4: Don’t do anything that links the IAG to anything that you do.
Rule 5: The IAG will make a termination contract on any MEMBER OR CLIENT that violates rules 1 through 4.
Rule 6: Other than the earlier rules, there are no limitations whatever on any IAG member’s conduct.
