Where Independence Meets Collaboration

History

The Independent Alliance Network was founded on a simple yet powerful idea: that the strength of an alliance comes not from rigid hierarchy or overwhelming force, but from the collective will of individuals pursuing their own paths among the stars. Born from the need for solo players and small groups to thrive without being swallowed by the demands of massive corporations or pirate factions, The Network has grown into a diverse community where independence is respected, and collaboration is welcomed.

Originally, the founders were a group of traders, resource gatherers, and builders who sought to carve out their own space in the galaxy. They realized that while independence was their strength, the vastness of space presented challenges no single individual could overcome alone. Thus, the Independent Alliance Network was established—not to impose rules, but to provide a support structure where members could contribute as much or as little as they wished, while still benefiting from the safety and resources of a larger organization.

Today, The Network continues to uphold its founding principles, serving as a beacon for those who wish to shape their own destiny. Whether you’re mining rare materials, trading across systems, or constructing the future, the Independent Alliance Network offers a home where independence meets community, allowing members to pursue their goals at their own pace.

Manifesto

At the Independent Alliance Network, we believe that the greatest strength lies in the freedom of the individual, combined with the power of collective support. We stand for a galaxy where pilots, traders, builders, and explorers can chart their own paths without the constraints of rigid hierarchies or corporate demands. Here, your contribution is valued, whether you fly solo or with a small crew, and the pace you set is your own.

Our intention is simple: to create a thriving, lawful community where like-minded individuals can pursue their goals—whether that means building outposts, mining asteroids, or trading across distant star systems. The Network exists to provide access to shared resources, security, and opportunities without infringing on the independence of its members.

We reject the notion that success in the universe requires submission to the few. Instead, we empower individuals to make their own way, knowing that they have a community behind them when needed. By pooling resources, sharing knowledge, and respecting each other’s autonomy, we achieve more together than we ever could alone.

We are not bound by rigid rules or corporate demands, but by the mutual respect and support of our members. Whether you’re looking for a home, a temporary partnership, or a long-term alliance, the Independent Alliance Network welcomes you. Together, we are building a future where independence meets community—in the stars and beyond.

Charter

As a member of the Independent Alliance Network, you are part of a community that values independence, respect, and cooperation. To ensure that all members can enjoy their experience while contributing to the growth and success of The Network, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Respect for Independence
Each member of The Network is free to pursue their own path. Whether you’re a solo player or part of a small group, your autonomy is a core value of this organization. However, with that freedom comes the responsibility to respect the choices and playstyles of others. No member shall impose their will or dictate the actions of another.
  1. Lawful Conduct
The Independent Alliance Network is committed to lawful and honorable activities. As a member, you are expected to engage in legal trade, resource gathering, building, and exploration. While self-defense is encouraged, piracy, griefing, or unlawful behavior is strictly prohibited.
  1. Collaboration Without Obligation
While cooperation is encouraged, participation in group activities is entirely voluntary. Members are welcome to contribute to joint efforts such as resource pooling, trading convoys, or building projects, but there is no obligation to do so. The Network thrives on mutual support, not enforced participation.
  1. Mutual Respect and Communication
All members are expected to treat each other with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or toxic behavior will not be tolerated. Maintain a positive and supportive attitude in all communications, both within the organization and with the wider Star Citizen community.
  1. Contribution to The Network
Though individual playstyles vary, members are encouraged to contribute to the greater good of the organization in whatever way they can. This can include sharing resources, providing knowledge, or participating in group missions. The strength of The Network is built on the contributions of its members, no matter how small.
  1. Security and Self-Defense
The universe is dangerous, and members are expected to defend themselves and others when necessary. If another member or allied group is in need, assistance is encouraged but never required. The Network will offer protection and security whenever possible, but each member is ultimately responsible for their own safety.
  1. Representation of The Network
As a member, you represent the Independent Alliance Network within the broader Star Citizen universe. Uphold the values of integrity, independence, and community in your actions. Misconduct that damages the reputation of The Network will result in review and possible expulsion.
  1. Dispute Resolution
Should conflicts arise between members, they are to be resolved through peaceful discussion and mediation. Leadership may step in to assist if necessary, but members are expected to resolve minor issues with mutual respect and understanding.
