Magazines, interviews, coverages, articles, and documentaries are produced nearly all around the clock by a team of dedicated photographers, reporters, and editors—ensuring quality news is brought to star citizens. IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC’s mission to tell the ‘Verse, one story at a time, steadily reaches a broader public.

IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC magazines are released all around the Stanton system and enthusiastically welcomed by citizens. Our photographers and reporters’ enduring efforts earn them the organization’s first of many more COMMUNITY MVP by RSI staff, just over a month after its birthing. IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC’s ways of capturing emotions arise as the organization’s signature.

IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC is founded on December 6th by Bantam Cumberly, RedSolstice, and Azertovski, heeding a call to exalt the ‘Verse enthrall through a journalistic point of view. The organization’s commitment to take the ultimate shot puts it on a path to venturing to the farthest places mankind has ever been.

IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC strive to help people better understand the ever-changing ‘Verse they live in through a vast array of articles, magazines, portraits, coverages, documentaries, and interviews. IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC serves as an independent, non-profit publication since 2948, aspiring to become a journalism reference and act like a warm beacon of light amidst a ‘Verse of cold uncertainty.
AN INSTITUTION BORN FROM A VISION AND PHILOSOPHY
IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC aims to be a landmark for all of the ‘Verse’s Star Citizens. We pursue this goal through the inspiring content we produce, fostering both contemplation and debate. Our deep commitment to nature, the environment, and freedom of expression are values and qualities we are proud to uphold.
PUTTING OUR TEAMS ON A MISSION TO EXPLORE AND STUDY
IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC works toward the betterment of all mankind through the study of natural sciences, geography, archeology, culture and history, as well as the promotion of environmental and historical preservation. Our investigations and quest for knowledge often lead us to the farthest reaches of known space and into uncharted territories: we’re on a journey to capture the perfect shot, and its destination matters little.

SECTION I: GENERAL DISPOSITIONS
PREMISE
We take great pride in what we do at IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC. Therefore, our Charter acts as a backbone and ensures we do our work by the book. Every one of our members is requested to abide by its rules as they not only represent who we are and what we do, but also structure the way we function. We could not do our job without them. It is part of what makes us different.
WRITTEN AND SPOKEN LANGUAGE
This is a “Wide-Across-Galaxy” Organization. We embrace any kind of people, from anywhere in the UEE and beyond. However, our Institution embraces ENGLISH as our main written and spoken language.
SECTION II: RULES
GENERAL RULES
These general rules apply equally to professional and reader members. Failure to follow them will result in early termination of your contract or perks:
PROFESSIONAL RULES
A career with us means working hard to achieve our mission in a collaborative, creative, and inclusive culture. Our team is full of talented and diverse people, ideas, interests, and skills; a team in which every member is guided by a deep commitment to IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC’s internal values: inclusivity and respectfulness, a curious and innovative mindset, the responsibilities of empowerment and accountability, a proactive and team player attitude. Thus, and to ensure such principles stand, a few rules are to be followed. Failure to do so will result in early termination of your contract:
Members are free to leave the Organization at their own discretion should they not agree with these rules anymore, with no hard feelings on our part.
SECTION III: DEONTOLOGY
DEONTOLOGICAL CODE OF CONDUCT
As a non-profit organization and journalism Institution, IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC requests its interns and professional members to embrace a deontological code of conduct. Such a code is designed to uphold the highest standards in regard to journalism ethics in the ‘Verse. Failure to follow it will result in early termination of your contract:
Furthermore, intern and professional members should at all times bear in mind they represent to some degree the Institution’s vision and internal values. Their actions influence IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC’s reputation, credibility, and image.
SECTION IV: RANKS
RANKS AND ROLES DISPOSITIONS
IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC utilizes Ranks and Roles. They’re based on skills and merit through enduring efforts. Advancement in both these fields is evaluated by members’ efforts regarding publications, as well as perks gained on duty, participated missions or expeditions. Please note that while Roles can only be assigned to main members, Ranks are distributed equally to our main and affiliate members.
READER
Readers members are part of our extended family. They are the people who like IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC, read us, or hold interest in our work. As such, they help us to better ourselves and increase the quality of the content we produce. Their curious and innovative nature helps us every step of the way, as their feedback is crucial to us and helps the Institution to better itself day after day. Nothing is requested from them except agreeing to the general rules established by this Charter. Our readers also get access to exclusive content.
SUPPORTER
Supporters are members who actively help IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC produce better content without being part of the professional staff or team, through financial, logistical, or administrative support.
SECTION V: PROFESSIONAL RANKS
INTERN
Interns are new members who are still learning the ropes of how our Institution functions under the supervision of other members until they’re ready to be promoted.
PHOTOGRAPHER
Photographers are professional members who get full access to IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC and proactively contribute to our publications with their pictures and insights on ongoing projects.
REPORTER
Reporters are professional members who get full access to IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC and proactively contribute to our publications through their written, photographic, edited or video content.
EDITOR
Editors are professional members who show a strong attitude toward collaborative work. They usually are members of the Board, overseeing specific duties in order to both keep the organization running and publications ready.
SECTION VI: OFFICERS
EDITORS' RESPONSABILITIES
IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC uses well-defined roles in order to drive change from the inside. Every main member can be entrusted with one of these roles (Editor In Chief being excluded). Being an Officer—or Editor—here is a testimony not only to one’s dedication to our Institution, but also to holding a thorough understanding of how the Organization works. It is the Editors’ responsibility to further:
EDITOR IN CHIEF
The Editor In Chief is the Founder and most senior officer. He’s in charge of managing our Organization and its policies, and thus presides over the Board of Editors. He is entrusted with responsibilities as a director, decision-maker, leader, admiral, and executor.
MANAGING EDITOR
Managing Editors are responsible for keeping daily operations running, overseeing both intern and professional teams on their various projects. They thus are the leading heads of our Knowledge Net—it is their responsibility to keep members motivated and to drive change.
EXECUTIVE EDITOR
Executive Editors oversee recruitment and act as heads of Human Resources, thus overseeing Expeditions Requests and assigning Expedition Mandates. They are in charge of the crucial task which is finding needed new talents and thinking heads to transform them into capable photographers, journalists, and explorers.
BRANDING EDITOR
Branding Editors lead all marketing and public relations operations. They oversee and manage our branding as well as our Institution’s image, designing advertising and promotion, as well as forming partnerships.

By joining our Company, you fully accept this Charter, and are requested to do so from now on and as long as you shall stay with us.
FINAL NOTES
As IMPERIAL GEOGRAPHIC further its way into the stars, this Charter is subject to change. Any modification to it will be announced to members in due form, and it is thus considered accepted by both parties. Should you not agree with our Charter anymore, you are free to leave us.
