History
Early Years
Founded in 2942 in the heart of the Stanton system, Interstellar Rescue Service (IRS) began as a small, dedicated group of medics and engineers. Our mission was to provide crucial medical aid and recovery services to those in need, often risking our lives to venture into hazardous regions. As we gained recognition, our operations expanded to cover the neighboring Pyro system, which was notorious for its lawlessness and danger.
Expansion into Combat and Security
As our presence grew, so did the threats we faced. Hostile forces like the Vanduul and various pirate factions frequently endangered our missions. Recognizing the need for comprehensive protection, we expanded our ranks to include skilled mercenaries. These warriors, trained in both combat and medical support, enabled us to safeguard our operations and those we aimed to protect.
Notable Missions
Operation Starlight (2950): A daring rescue mission on a remote asteroid in the Stanton system, where a mining crew was trapped by a sudden cave-in. Our team executed a complex recovery operation, saving over 200 lives while fending off Vanduul raiders.
Defense of Pyro V (2955): When a pirate faction attempted to seize control of a crucial outpost, our combat team led a successful defense operation. This mission solidified our reputation as not only medics but formidable warriors capable of holding the line.
Sanctuary Project (2960): A large-scale initiative to establish safe zones in the Pyro system. Our security forces protected these zones from various threats, including Banu smugglers and pirate attacks, while our medics set up clinics to offer medical support to the local population.
