ISC is one of Star Citizen’s earliest organisations. We’re a privately funded research and development company with interests in many worlds and scientific disciplines. Our vessels can be seen travelling the universe as our reach extends on peaceful (but protected) exploration and delivery missions.

History

The Interplanetary Science Corporation was founded in January of 2014 under the direction of its three founders:

Dr Neil (M.D; MBA) – Chief Executive Officer
As CEO, Dr Johnston is responsible for implementing ISC’s business plan and meeting the standards of our clients. He seeks new ways to continue the organisation’s legacy of scientific excellence and expand its reach.

Dr Clark (PhD; LMPA; Barista) – Chief Operations Officer
Dr Clark oversees the planning and execution of ISC’s operations. From deep hostile space exploration to simple salvage and delivery missions, Dr Clark is the leader.

Prof Dylan (PhD; FAAIP) – Chief Scientific Officer
Prof Johnston oversees research and development of cutting edge technologies in ISC’s state-of-the-art laboratories.

Manifesto

ISC regularly engages in commercial-in-confidence missions throughout all known and as of yet unknown sectors of space. We discover, create, and deliver cutting edge technologies to our clients anywhere in the universe. Our premium products and technologies come fresh from dangerous and uncharted worlds and alien races. Our ethical company foundations dictate that we are non-aggressors to other organisations and races. Whilst we try to act diplomatically in acquiring our technologies, space can be a hostile place. Our exploration teams are well equipped to deal with the unknown and possibly hostile.

Our goal is to develop and bring the best enabling technologies to our clients and the public. Our primary areas of interest are:

  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Information Technology
  • Medical Devices
  • Diagnostics

We have strong ties to our affiliate organisation: StarSanto – the massive corporation pushing for advancement of genetically modified crops throughout the universe!

Note to players: We are a casual organisation with fairly relaxed rules. You don’t have to follow the scientific trend, it is merely an area of knowledge of interest to the founding members. We are a non-aggressive organisation towards other players, though we are very ready to defend ourselves or push into dangerous NPC territories to complete our daring exploration missions (and have the odd skirmish!).

Charter

To join you must:

  • Be over 15 years old
  • Be of good moral character in terms of your in-game criminal record
To remain a member you must:
  • Be willing to engage in some ISC missions every now and then
  • Be sociable (you don’t have to chat heaps, just don’t be a total ghost!)
  • Not engage in unprovoked PvP.
  • Respect the direction of the higher ranking members (who in turn will be held accountable by the majority and will not be unsuitably intrusive or demanding)
