Interstellar Services Corporation / ISCL

The Interstellar Services Corporation traces its lineage back to the United States Space Force [USSF]. The Corporation’s logo is based on the four of the operational USSF units that pioneered space warfare in the early 2020’s. In late 2090 the USSF began exploring a series of moons to establish a space bridge that would extend all the way to the Kuiper belt. By 2180 the USSF had achieved its basing goals in the solar system by placing permanent bases on the Earth’s moon & Mars and outposts on Titan, Triton, Oberon, Pluto. Additionally, exploration of potentially habitable exoplanets Kapteyn b and Gliese 832 c by USSF Voyage LR-2000 probes indicated both exoplanets would be able to support human life. In 2250 the nations of the earth created the United Earth Alliance [UEA]. The UEA governed the entire planet and the USSF was transformed from a military organization to a civil space authority. This organization was designated the United Earth Alliance Space Administration [UEASA]. UEASA had the task to establish colonies on the exoplanets Kapteyn b and Gliese 832 c. By 2375 the UEA’s colonies were thriving and advances in space travel cut the transit time from Earth to the colonies in half (6 light years). Kapteyn b had become the bread basket for the UEA and Gliese 832 c was the technology hub where advances in space ship design and space travel had made it possible for private corporations to explore and find more habitable planets within the galaxy. The United Nations Of Earth UNE was formed in 2380, as a result the UEASA was disbanded and its assets were bought up by a conglomerate of companies who formed the Galaxy Services Corporation [ GSC]. GSC continued providing logistics and security services in the SOL. Throughout the Human Colonial Expansion Era GSC grew and continued to prosper. With the establishment of the United Planets of Earth in 2523 GSC was on the precipice of becoming the leader in space logistics services, that all ended when the company was placed under government control to support the First Tevarin War. By the end of the conflict GSC was a mere shell of its original self. When the UEE was formed in 2546 the remaining assets of GSC were turned back over to civilian control. For the next 300 years the company persevered but became essentially a small business unit providing cargo and passenger services. In 2948 seven CEO’s of successful tech security and logistics companies resigned their positions and decided to form a new corporation. They bought GSC’s assets and infrastructure for a mere pittance and formed the Interstellar Services Corporation [ISC] Headquartered in the Stanton System, ISC operates a diverse fleet of cargo, mining, luxury, military and ground based assets.
