Where it all began…

Imperial Shipping Transport and Recovery was founded in 2945 by two entrepreneurial pilots known as Basics and Maelphius. After their tours in Squadron 42 fighting the Vanduul took both a physical and mental toll, and upon retirement, the former wing-men became business partners. Starting off with a single Freelancer and an Avenger, they set off to build the best damn shipping company in the Verse!

Initially the company was a traditional transport service; go to point A, pick up goods, fly through standard space lanes to point B, and drop off the goods. The duo made a decent living, even hiring their first two employees; another escort pilot and a load master. Soon they realized that in order to grow they needed something that made them unique, something that will make them stand out among other companies. Then it clicked, to date there where very few transport companies willing to ship high value merchandise or people, especially in low security or Xeno-controlled space. The duo decided to start taking contracts and discovered a rich, barely-tapped market place.

Though combat happens regularly during their transport missions, the combination of military experience and technological investment, the duo have consistently, and continue to, provided services both for the UEE and many of its citizens. Though the organization has grown far beyond what the initial duo intended. They and their organization continue to provide the same friendly, respectful, and high quality service that has earned them their reputation.
