History
The Long Range Space Group (LRSG) was established through the combined experience of military and law enforcement personnel. The progress of military campaigns drew the need for a select number of elite personnel who could operate for long periods in seclusion. The founding members, Tiberius Raine and REDACTED formulated the idea for a new organisation.
Thus was born the Long Range Patrol (LRP) with operations originally conducted by only the founding directors in active military zones, they headed deep into enemy lines to undertake long range reconnaissance patrols to gather intelligence. This style of operation lead to many notable success, including an operation masterminded by Tiberius Raine which took the LRP deep into enemy held space. The successful completion of the mission leading to the capture of REDACTED propelled the LRP to the forefront of special operations groups.
With this expanded recognition came an increase in demand for the skills of the LRP, causing it to expand to incorporate further operatives. This required a restructure within the organisation and lead to the renaming of the LRP to the Long Range Space Group (LRSG). Due to the clandestine nature of the newly named LRSG the majority of operatives maintain redacted status to insure anonymity.
Remaining strong ties with the elite arms of both the military and law enforcement, recruitment is drawn from both of these respected government organisation, ensuring the LRSG incorporates a range of highly skilled and motivated operatives.
Enabling citizens to discretely and quickly arrange for works to be undertaken, the LRSG has multiple branches which specialise in giving the client the expertise not offered elsewhere.
Manifesto
The Long Range Space Group has been designed to specialise in assisting Citizens with tasks deemed too perilous for inexperienced organisations.
Due to the current political uncertainty of the verse these works vary in range and depth, including the escorting and protection of priority citizens and cargo, reconnaissance of valued targets and assisting in disagreements in line with the clients wishes.
Our contracts are treated with the utmost respect and discretion, meaning any contract which is accepted will not lead back to the client. Failure to complete the objective is not considered an option.
Charter
OPERATIONAL CHARTER FOR OPERATIVES OF THE LSRG:
- You will at all times seek to accomplish any contract which the organisation has accepted. Failure to complete accepted contracts will lead to a degradation of work.
- Any contracts which are offered to you without the Director’s knowledge will be reported to them as soon as practicable and prior to commencement, to ensure all contracts are authorised and managed.
- The client has the right to anonymity, you may not be informed of the client should you be assigned a contact.
- Any contract you accept or are assigned for which you believe you will require assistance, contact the director’s for operational support prior to the commencement of the contract.
- You have the right to defend yourself and any other operative of the LSRG or it’s allies.
- At no point will you engage in piracy.
- You may be affiliated with other organisations, however the Director’s must be made aware.
