History
From Chaos to Power
Meteor Security was born from the chaos of the collapse of the Messer Era in 2792. When the long-reigning Messer regime fell, the remnants of its once-proud military divisions were left leaderless and fragmented. Among them was a highly skilled, but now rogue, military unit that had served the Messers with unwavering loyalty.
With the central government in disarray, the unit was forced to fend for itself, morphing into a private military company (PMC) to survive. Without the iron hand of the Messer regime, they set out as an independent entity. Though once government soldiers, they evolved into a disciplined, highly trained private military company, adapting quickly to their new life on Cascom. This independent force began providing security services to various corporations and governments across the UEE, establishing its reputation for ruthless efficiency and unwavering loyalty.
A Fateful Encounter: Marcus McCulloch and the Birth of Meteor Security
The pivotal moment in Meteor Security’s history came in 2950, when the organization crossed paths with Marcus McCulloch, a visionary businessman and the founder of Meteor Industries. Meteor Industries, based on Hurston in the Stanton system, had originally specialized in trade and transport but was expanding rapidly into new markets. McCulloch was in dire need of reliable security to protect his assets and shipments from growing threats across the universe.
Recognizing the opportunity, Meteor Security and McCulloch struck a deal: Meteor Security would safeguard Meteor Industries’ growing operations, while McCulloch would offer the PMC the resources needed to scale its operations. Though Meteor Security and Meteor Industries maintained separate leadership and operations, they were bound by a shared mission and a mutual loyalty that ran deeper than most business relationships.
Meteor Security and Meteor Industries Unite: The Meteor Family
Thus, the name “Meteor Security” was born, a symbol of their new partnership. Though they worked closely together, both entities retained their separate identities. The bond between the two organizations soon gave rise to what became known as the “Meteor Family,” a powerful alliance of security and commerce.
Over the years, the Meteor Family has become a dominant force in both the security and business sectors, particularly in the Castra system, where Meteor Security’s headquarters is located on the planet Cascom, Castra II. Despite their success, both Meteor Security and Meteor Industries continue to chart their own paths, while their shared vision keeps them united.
Into the Present: Modern Operations
Today, Meteor Security stands as a powerhouse PMC with operations that extend well beyond Castra II. Their primary allegiance remains to the Meteor Family, and Meteor Industries continues to be their most vital client. However, Meteor Security also contracts with independent planets, UEE affiliates, and private companies that meet their standards and align with their interests.

Our Purpose
To provide an unbreakable line of defense, enabling each member of the Meteor Family to pursue their goals in a secure environment, free from external threats and interference.

Article I: Duties and Responsibilities
1. Protection of Members and Assets
• Meteor Security is tasked with ensuring the safety of it’s members and the members of Meteor Industries during missions, transports, and operations;
• All industrial, transport, and exploratory operations within the complex are protected by dedicated security personnel when deemed necessary by security command.
2. Defensive and Tactical Operations
• Meteor Security deploys tactical teams to engage, neutralize, or deter threats encountered during operations, including but not limited to piracy, theft, and sabotage;
• Rapid response units will be maintained to provide immediate support in critical situations, especially in high-risk or hostile regions.
3. Operational Integrity and Compliance
• Security personnel are responsible for enforcing operational standards and ensuring compliance with corporate policies to prevent breaches, conflicts, and misunderstandings that could jeopardize operations.
4. Intelligence and Threat Assessment
• Meteor Security gathers and analyzes intelligence on potential threats and external forces that may affect the Meteor Family;
• Threat assessment teams are deployed to evaluate high-risk situations, ensuring that all operations are equipped with the knowledge and resources to proceed safely.

• The Space Admiral (SA) leads Meteor Security, reporting directly to the Board of Governors on matters of strategy, defense, and readiness.
2. Operational Divisions
• Protection Unit: Responsible for securing transport routes, protecting convoys, and safeguarding high-value assets during operations;
• Tactical Response Unit: Deployed in response to active threats, focusing on rapid, tactical engagement to neutralize hostiles;
