History

In the vast expanse of the Star Citizen universe, a motley crew of pioneers and adventurers came together, drawn by their shared love for the stars and the promise of boundless opportunities among the nebulae. They were known as the “Voyagers of the Nebulae,” and their story began with a vision for exploration and profit.

At the helm of this ambitious endeavor is “The Hummingbird”, a visionary organiser whose passion for settling the stars is matched only by his tenacity. As the Hummingbird is a closed book, he plays his cards close to his chest. Only the crew actually know who he really is.
With the Banu Merchantman as the flagship of their budding corporation, he sets out to explore the depths of the universe and trade with any and all parties for the betterment of the company.
When he isn’t cutting lucrative deals in the executive lounge, he can be found in his Crusader Spirit E1 transporting fellow executives around the ‘verse to improve relations and bring a positive reputation to the corporation amongst the social elite.

The Congressman shares The Hummingbird’s enthusiasm for the venture. His ships, the Origin 125A and the Cutlass Black, are the core workhorses of the fleet, transporting valuable cargo and defending the organization from the threats that lurked in the darkness of space. His origins as a member of congress give him unique insight into the political game, making him The Hummingbird’s right hand man in negotiations and chief advisor.
With the Argo Cargo in tow, he ensures that the resources they mine and quests they undertake will reach their intended destinations safely.

Tron is the chief financial officer and oversees the economic arm of the corporation, aiming to profit off the mineral wealth found in the frontiers of space with his prospector, mining alongside the Congressman, building towards the goals of the corporation.
The Argo Cargo vessel that accompanies him plays a vital role in resource transportation, symbolising his contribution to the collective dream.

Sergeant “Seawolf” represents the armed wing of the corporation, his strong sense of duty, organisation and defence allows the organisation to carry out its activities without falling victim to pirate raids or attacks. With the Avenger Titan, he stands ready to protect their assets and members from any potential threats, ensuring that the corporation can continue to carry out its mission with peace of mind.

Together, the board members embark on an ongoing journey, with the Maroon and White colours emblazoned proudly with “NEBULAE” on their ships. They were the Voyagers of the Nebulae, united by their passion for mining, resource transport, and combat quests. As they venture deeper into the cosmos, they grow a camaraderie that will define their legacy. With the nebulae as their backdrop, their story is just beginning, and the universe is their canvas to paint with the adventures they will create.

Star Citizen is a Game

First and foremost, we all live real lives and we acknowledge that Star Citizen is just a video game that is something we can play to blow off steam.
We respect the way in which our organisation members wish to conduct themselves to enjoy the game and make the most of their experience.

Voyagers of the Nebulae is a Neutral Faction

We will not engage in taking sides with other organisations, we have no intention of formalising any alliances or emnities with other organisations.

Goals

As we are a small organisation, every member is expected to help each other to maintain organisation running costs. These running costs will change as star citizen evolves. Running costs attached to personal endeavors or ships will need to be discussed with the board members before any resource pooling is expected, as they must be done within reason to avoid economically crippling the organisation.

Voyagers of the Nebulae Charter

Article I: Name and Purpose

Name: The official name of the organisation is “Voyagers of the Nebulae,” and its tag is “NEBULAE.”

Purpose: The purpose of the Voyagers of the Nebulae is to foster a community of Star Citizen enthusiasts who share a passion for exploration, resource acquisition, and PvE quests in the vast expanse of the Star Citizen universe.

Article II: History and Leadership

Foundation: The organisation was founded by a group of pioneers and adventurers brought together by their shared love for the stars and the promise of boundless opportunities among the nebulae.

Leadership: The organization is led by “The Hummingbird,” our visionary organiser, who plays a crucial role in setting the course for our collective journey. The leadership team also includes the “Congressman,” “Tron,” and “Sergeant Seawolf,” each contributing their unique skills to achieve the organisation’s goals.

Article III: Flagship and Fleet

Flagship: The Banu Merchantman is the flagship vessel of the Voyagers of the Nebulae, representing our commitment to exploration and trade.

Fleet: Our fleet consists of various ships, each with a specific role and purpose, including the Crusader Spirit E1, Origin 125A, Cutlass Black, Avenger Titan, Prospector, and Argo Cargo vessels.

Article IV: Slogan

Slogan: “Adventure Awaits in the Nebulae” serves as our common cause, encapsulating our commitment to exploration, discovery, and camaraderie.

Article V: Manifesto

Star Citizen as a Game: We acknowledge that Star Citizen is a video game and emphasize that it’s a platform for enjoyment, entertainment, and relaxation.

Neutral Faction: We maintain neutrality, refusing to formally align with or oppose other organizations. We respect the autonomy and choices of our members.

Goals: We strive to maintain an environment of collaboration and assistance, with members contributing to the organization’s running costs within reasonable bounds. Major resource pooling for personal endeavors will be discussed and decided collectively by the board members.

Article VI: Membership and Conduct

Membership: Membership in the Voyagers of the Nebulae is open to all who share our interests, values, and commitment to our collective goals.

Conduct: Members are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. We encourage cooperation and unity among members and an atmosphere of mutual respect.

Article VII: Amendments

Amendments: Any changes or amendments to this charter may be proposed by members and will be subject to a vote by the leadership team.
