The Nimrod Exobiology and United Spaceways (NEXUS) Initiative found it’s roots as one of the largest exploration squadrons in Elite Dangerous, and Now have expanded their vision for exploration and discovery to the Verse. It’s vision is to chart and plot courses across the stars for all. o7
History
Founded in 2017, the NEXUS Initiative started as a group of explorers within the world of Elite Dangerous. Their mission: Sending out Fleet Carriers with needed supplies and resources to far corners of the galaxy to act as permanent hubs for deep space explorers. Setting up Carriers as stations providing repair, refuel and cartography services, NEXUS was vital with many Fuel Rat rescues and continues to assist them to this day. NEXUS also served as a long time partner with Hutton Orbital Radio, featured many times over the years for both their efforts as an exploration group and Assisting in numerous rescue projects. NEXUS has since expanded into other media, including No Man’s Sky, with an extensive collection of bases across the Euclid Galaxy, and now the Verse of Star Citizen.
Manifesto
In the Verse of Star Citizen, The NEXUS Initiative’s goal is to establish safe routes through uncharted space. At current, this involves placing outposts and ‘stations’ between the planets of Stanton, offering repairs and refuel services. Newer Players, or players flying smaller vessels may not have the fuel or resources to cross the entirety of Stanton. NEXUS places permanent outposts to allow citizens safe passage. On planets, they will place outposts for miners, explorers, and salvage operations, allowing for safe crossing and quick rescue operations, as well as commodities and resources to allies in desolate areas.
The Long term goal for NEXUS is to establish a system of checkpoints across the Verse, across star systems, allowing explorers to venture to the far reaches of the Verse, discovering new Jump Points, locations of value and interest, and expand humanity’s reach across the Verse

Charter
NEXUS is a lawful Org. They do not Partake in any form of griefing or piracy. Combat is also limited (But not restricted) as NEXUS’s primary goal is for exploration. NEXUS will defend itself from those who wish our members or any lawful citizen harm, but we are not a military.
1: No griefing or piracy while on NEXUS Mission parameters (Members are required to avoid griefing at all times, but Piracy gameplay in freetime is allowed)
2: No exploitation of game mechanics and glitches.
3: 0 Tolerance policy: We are accepting of all who share a love of exploration and discovery. Everyone who shares a love of discovery and exploration are welcome. We do not allow any form of hate in NEXUS. Any form of racism, sexism, or any form of bias or hatred against gender, occupation, physical attributes, religious or political views will be BANNED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
4: While we encourage lively discussion and the sharing of knowledge, keep discussion away from sensitive topics. If you cannot behave like mature and intelligent individuals, than there will be consequences.
