The Nova Eclipse was founded by a former UEE Navy officer named Valeria Nova, who defected from the military after a failed covert operation in the Vanduul War. She gathered a loyal crew of ex-soldiers, outlaws, and thrill-seekers, and formed a mercenary company that offered its services to the highest bidder.

The Nova Eclipse specializes in infiltration, sabotage, assassination, and extraction missions. They have a reputation for being able to handle any job, no matter how dangerous or illegal. They are also notorious for their use of experimental and stolen technology, such as stealth suits, plasma rifles, and quantum jammers.

The Nova Eclipse operates from a hidden base in the Icarus cluster, an asteroid field in the Croshaw system. They have a fleet of modified spacecraft, including a Drake Caterpillar as their flagship, a pair of Anvil Hornets as escorts, and a MISC Freelancer as a transport. They also have access to a network of contacts, informants, and clients across the ‘verse.

The Nova Eclipse is a threat to the UEE and its allies, as well as to rival mercenary groups and criminal organizations. They have been involved in several high-profile incidents, such as the assassination of Senator Jyoti Singh, the sabotage of the Ark Galactapedia server, and the theft of a Xi’an prototype ship. They are wanted by the Advocacy and the Bounty Hunters Guild, and have a large bounty on their heads.
