We began our journey as part of another group called “The Red Forces” on Star Trek Online. Most of the active members of that fleet found a camaraderie and relationships were forged. The leadership of The Red Forces was non-existent and immature, but to make matters worse, the head of the fleet was idiotic in making policy and treated members poorly.
On April 23/2011, Estes went on a mission with the Red Forces leader and some other fleet members. During the mission, the main leader began taunting and belittling our fleet mates for being killed so easily. Estes immediately left The Red Forces. Once leadership saw Estes was indeed serious, an emergence meeting was held. They offered Estes a leadership position (3rd in Command) because Estes was influential with the entire fleet. During that meeting, Estes could see that The Red Forces was not providing the right kind of experience that players wanted.
The next day, The Omega Armada was born.
4 years later, our group had grown and we saw the need to expand outside of just Star Trek Online as many played other games. Hence forward in the year 2015, Omega United was create as our official gaming community, called the Omega United Gaming Community. Since then, we have named all our multiplayer groups Omega United.
The Omega United was built on the premise of offering a superior MMO group experience. We cater to the mature and intelligent Citizen who wants to be apart of a community that will not only work well, but offers a sound and realistic hierarchy of management. We are one of the biggest fleets on STO for that reason alone.
Now, its time we spread our influence and make history with Star Citizen.

Manifesto
THE OMEGA UNITED DECLARATION OF INTENT
We, of the Omega United, hereby announce our intention towards the UEE, its Citizens and the universe at large.
OUR PURPOSE
We are a group of ex-military personnel who had the privilege of serving with the legendary men and women of Squadron 42. Now living under civilian status, we still work towards serving the interests of the UEE and the UEEN. Our commitment to “King & Country” is second to none. So, should piracy or the Vanduul threat veer its ugly head and the UEE requires a few good men, we will rise to answer the call and serve our great empire once again!
We are proud Citizens of the UEE. We live and die for its ideals and people. And should any heretic of the UEE or Xeno stand in our way, we will stop at nothing to prevail! Humanity must prevail!
Officers of this Organization may operate in any sector to help develop the military asset pool of the Omega United and to self improve their own means of ship and personal equipment acquisitions. We live to serve the Empire and we accomplish this through the procurement of legal civilian armaments.
No restriction shall apply to a member’s choice of career path. We are here to offer human resources and a means of aid should it be required or called upon. We do not specialize in any particular field, except when called to defend the UEE and its interests.
Once a member of the Omega United, you are blood! We will stop at nothing to rescue or avenge our own.
We have been a group since 2011, so we understand how to organize people. Ranks within our Organization require the burden of responsibility. The higher the rank, the more responsibility you are expected to take on. Its no different than RL.
