A brief history | COBRA

In the year 1982, Cobra Commander, a charismatic yet unwaveringly sinister being with a thirst for power, united a disparate group of lost souls under the banner of COBRA. Some decades later after discovering the power of cryostasis, the group gained immortality.
After centuries of dominating Earth’s 3rd world and creating mayhem and havoc on 7 continents, Cobra Commander saw the greatest opportunity to cement his permanence (and salvation) by brokering the negotiations for full legal immunity in the Stanton System, provided
he and his cohorts leave Earth, never to return.

Subsequently, in 2870, a short time after the planets of the Stanton System were sold; Cobra used their ill-gotten gains to become a Spacefaring organization and continues to disrupt and dominate the economy of Stanton, Pyro and Nyx.
Almost a century later in 2954 they continue to be sleek and menacing, cutting through the cosmos, leaving a trail of chaos in their wake.

Not contented to simply live out a starborne retirement; COBRAS members’ ultimate goal is to dominate the galaxy in all facets of industry, commerce, corruption and combat. They seek profit and prominence; to contest and control resources and relationships.

COBRA seeks to leverage its strategic position to launch an interstellar empire.

With no Joes in Space, who’s to say otherwise ?

The Universe is in chaos. Weak, corrupt governments cling to power, while the masses suffer. It is time for a new order, a world ruled by strength, efficiency, and absolute control.

The Cobra Way
Cobra is the vanguard of this new order. We are not bound by outdated notions of morality or compassion. We are driven by a single, unwavering purpose: to dominate.

The Enemy
Our enemies are many: the weak, the complacent, and the forces that seek to preserve the status quo. We will not rest until they are all defeated.

The Prize
The prize is a Universe where Cobra stands supreme. A world where order reigns, and the weak are subservient to the strong.

The Call to Arms
Join us, and together we will build a new world. A world where Cobra is the law.

The End Justifies the Means
We will use any means necessary to achieve our goals. There are no innocents, only obstacles to be overcome.

The Future
The future belongs to Cobra. We will not be denied.
