History

Who are Olterian?
Olterian is a group in development, striving to bring people together to bring out the best in each other. We strive to create an environment where our members can enjoy playing Star Citizen, alone or in groups, whilst knowing they have access to a friendly community who strive to bring the most out of the game. Everyone is welcome, and any play style that doesn’t ruin it for others, aka Piracy, is welcome under our roof, allowing for experienced and newcommers to meet, ole players and casuals to discuss, and for players to look for help in whatever endeavour they may have!

Come as you are, become who you want to be
Here in Olterian we welcome players of any profession, using our developing community to learn from one another and to find people to join us in our adventures! Do you want to be an EMT? Maybe a part of a private militia? A trucker perhaps? No worries! We welcome anyone who respects others and strive to make the game more enjoyable for all! As our community grows we will set out to create off shoots for the various professions alongside our main community to allow our members to find more specialised and like minded individuals.

Olterian’s future
Olterian is still growing, and as such our future is limitless. As of now, our main priority is bringing people together to help one another and enjoy the game with friends. But as our community grows and a desire for more arises our operations will change to adapt, and only the most dedicated can tell were we will go! So join today and help us shape the future!

What do you get?
Here at Olterian we believe that there can exist a space for all, with the possibility and openness required for players to discover new communities and play styles. As a member of Olterian you will, at this point in time, help us grow, and thus help us create this space! You will gain access to the knowledge that exists, the voice to shape a community, and the space to interact with others the way you’d like to! This means that no matter your age, experience with Star Citizen, or your play style, you are welcome and have the possibility of creating a network of players. This also means that you do not need to be an hardcore player. Casual players are more than welcome. No matter if you play once a decade or 16 hours a day you are welcome to this community, and we hope that you will enjoy your time with us.

Manifesto

Olterian Corp. Believes in doing no evil, which means that any player is welcome as long as you don’t intend to ruin the game for others, thus we kindly ask that pirates and individuals who don’t respect others find alternative organisations.

Furthermore, Olterian Corp. Welcomes casual as well as hardcore players, and will with time create sub-communities for individuals looking for things such as a quick chat or role playing companions. We hope that everyone will find something here to enjoy!

Charter

What do you get?
  • A developing community: Olterian is just staring off and will grow with time! As such you as a member will have a lot of influence in the early days and will help us grow this community.
  • Better profits: Our goal isn’t to only have fun. With access to a friendly and like minded community we believe that we can use each others’ knowledge and services to increase in game profits. In practice we would like to see this meaning private tutoring in various subjects, sharing of information, aid in missions and tasks, access to other player’s ships for trials, and larger organise events.

All members are allowed to do as they please and there is no obligation to participate to any activities. We do however ask that if you decide to participate in a specific, organised activity you should follow the command of the activity leader and the rules set for the activity. This is to ensure a fair and fun environment. There is nothing to it but a little common sense and respect between peers.
