Panda is love, Panda is kindness, Panda is knowledge, come see through the PandaZeye. So begins the creed of the Panda Cult, a name that elicits chuckles and raised eyebrows in equal measure across the ’Verse. But beneath the seemingly whimsical moniker lies a surprisingly influential organization, one with roots stretching back to the chaotic early days of the UEE.

It began, as many things do, with a single individual: PandaZeye. Legend (and PandaZeye’s carefully curated personal history) paints a picture of a lone explorer, adrift in the lawless fringes of the Stanton system. Disgusted by the rampant piracy and corruption, PandaZeye sought not to conquer or control, but to understand. They dedicated themselves to the peaceful exploration and cataloging of undiscovered systems, believing that true power lay not in military might, but in knowledge itself.

Initially, the “Cult” was just PandaZeye and a handful of like-minded individuals, sharing discoveries and resources in a loosely organized collective. Their focus was on xeno-linguistics, ancient alien civilizations, and the ecological diversity of unexplored worlds. They earned a reputation for their meticulous research and their almost preternatural ability to navigate treacherous jump points, often attributed to PandaZeye’s uncanny intuition.

The information within hinted at advanced technologies and philosophical concepts far beyond human comprehension. Core Tenets:

Charter

The Panda Cult Charter
Article I: Name and Purpose

Section 1: The name of this organization shall be “The Panda Cult,” hereinafter referred to as “the Cult” or “the Organization.”

Section 2: The purpose of the Cult shall be:

To promote peaceful exploration and scientific discovery within the ‘Verse.
To provide medical and humanitarian aid to those in need.
To foster understanding and cooperation between diverse cultures and species.
To conduct research and disseminate knowledge for the betterment of the ‘Verse.
To uphold the principles and tenets outlined in the Panda Cult Manifesto.
Article II: Membership

Section 1: Membership in the Cult shall be open to any individual who subscribes to the principles outlined in the Panda Cult Manifesto and agrees to abide by the terms of this Charter.

Section 2: Prospective members shall submit an application to the Cult leadership, demonstrating their commitment to the Cult’s values and purposes.

Section 3: Membership may be granted or revoked by a majority vote of the Cult Council.

Section 4: Different tiers of membership may exist, each with its own set of privileges and responsibilities, as determined by the Cult Council.

Article III: Leadership and Governance

Section 1: The Cult shall be led by the PandaZeye, who shall serve as the spiritual and philosophical leader of the Organization.

Section 2: The Cult Council, composed of elected or appointed members, shall be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the Cult.

Section 3: The Cult Council shall establish committees and working groups as needed to carry out the Cult’s various activities.

Section 4: Decisions of the Cult Council shall be made by majority vote.

Section 5: The PandaZeye shall have the authority to veto any decision of the Cult Council if it is deemed to be in conflict with the core tenets of the Panda Cult Manifesto.

Article IV: Finances

Section 1: The Cult shall be funded through a combination of donations, grants, and revenue generated from its various activities.

Section 2: All financial contributions to the Cult shall be used solely for the purposes outlined in this Charter.

Section 3: The Cult Treasurer shall be responsible for the management of the Cult’s finances and shall provide regular reports to the Cult Council and membership.

Section 4: The Cult’s financial records shall be open to inspection by any member in good standing.

Article V: Amendments

Section 1: This Charter may be amended by a two-thirds vote of the Cult Council, subject to the approval of the PandaZeye.

Section 2: Proposed amendments to the Charter shall be submitted to the Cult Council at least one month prior to the vote.

Article VI: Dissolution

Section 1: In the event of the Cult’s dissolution, all remaining assets shall be distributed to charitable organizations that share the Cult’s values and purposes, as determined by the Cult Council.

Article VII: Code of Conduct

Section 1: All members of the Cult shall adhere to a Code of Conduct that reflects the principles of the Panda Cult Manifesto. This code will be established and maintained by the Cult Council.

Section 2: Members are expected to treat all beings with respect and compassion, to act with integrity and honesty, and to uphold the values of the Cult in all their interactions.

Section 3: Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion from the Cult.

Article VIII: Symbol and Motto

Section 1: The official symbol of the Cult shall be the stylized panda skull.

Section 2: The official motto of the Cult shall be: “Panda is love, panda is kindness, panda is knowledge, come see through the PandaZeye.”
